good complilation of 2 books with good instruction on many facets of woodcarving. Several good patterns also included to try.

great book, great illustration. i was a bit turned off by the authors technic of multiple layers of wood even tho i use solid blocks of basswood but inspite of it i got to use very good patterns. big fan !!

This is one of the best carving workbooks that I have bought. Great way to carve in a different way they I am used too. Book is very informative. Top 10 publication in my opinion.

This is a nice workbook for beginners. I did not like all the writing about how to do things. There are not many pictures to show how carvings are done. I was disappointed. The typing tutorials are long, but do tell the steps clearly. Then hand written tutorials were hard to read. Had is seen this and looked thru it on the shelf, I would not have bought it.

Bonjour, j'ai achetais cette ouvrage, malheureusement je l'ai retourner trop d'anglais à lire environ une page sur deux de lecture? je ne connais pas l'anglais il est rare, je pense même que c'est le premier fois que je retourne pour cette raison, étant donner que beaucoup de livre anglais sont tellement bien fait, qu'il ni a pas besoin de savoir le lire les images suffises en général. Donc je peut comme même vous dirent qu'il est tous en noir et blanc, les pages ne sont pas en papier glacer, la couverture est quand même cartonner. Les motifs sont donc bien pour la majeur parti des animaux il y a quelques personnages, la technique n'as pas l'air compliquer. Les modèles pour créer sont tous à agrandir, ils sont présenter de très petite taille. Je vous conseille de savoir lire l'anglais pour cette achat. Amicalement Sandrine
