This was a replacement for one I lost that had worked wonderfully for 2 years.

Allows tranfer from virtually any device with USB.
Very versatile. I am able to transfer from a MAC to and android via a thumb drive or SD card. For me its much better than a subscription to an FTP service. It has USB C and with a C to A adapter I can transfer data easily between My APPLE, Linux, Android, Windows. Yay. I can insert my SD card from my camera and back up to my laptop or MAC and erase the SC card for more pictures.
