Bought to brace my monitor.
I submitted a question regarding using this product as a brace of sorts for a monitor. I went ahead and purchased two of these despite the answer I got. I have a 3 monitor setup each with their own separate articulating stand/arm. I just got a new 43" and already had two 32" monitors. Ridiculous I know, but I wanted to put my two 32" monitors in portrait mode on the sides of my new main monitor (I only have 1 like this at the moment). However the VESA mount is not centered when it's in portrait, and the weight causes the monitor to rotate/fall. This little GPU support works perfectly to prevent that. I have it under the corner that "falls". The solid construction and the tightening screw on the support is more than enough to hold the weight of the monitor. The max height the support reaches I would say is 7.5" It's all aluminum with a rubberish tactile pad on top of the little arm and bottom of the base. It's a great overall product. Very happy with it.

Good product
This is a great product I bought this 3 years ago and it is still holding up my GPU. It hasn't slipped or anything and fits in all sorts of weird spaces

Easy to install. Works I guess if your video card doesn't support iteslf.
I figured I would get one of these just in-case, to not add extra stress on the PCI-E slot (Even though most gaming boards/good boards come with pretty strong slots for these, with newer ones even being solid metal.) The quality of this is decent for the price, just metal. Although feels flimsy at times, flops around, and can be hard to tighten and get it to stay in the same spot, etc. I got it for my EVGA RTX 2070. Which does have a back-plate for support. Extra support doesn't hurt.

Fits in Corsair 4000D case with RTX 3070
Pros - Matte black color - Rubber feet on both the bottom platform and holding tab. No need for glue or extra screws. - Lightweight. No need to add extra pounds. - It's idiot proof. Set and forget. Cons - Obviously since it's not screwed in anywhere, you need to remove the stand before moving the PC case. It's not really a con unless you're the laziest person on earth. But if you're that lazy, then stop moving your PC. My Corsair 4000D case is a midsize compact case. The stand height goes way above the height of any PCIe slot for an ATX motherboard. Plenty of room. Holds my EVGA RTX 3070 no problem. Again, installation is really easy.

Does your video card sag like a wet noodle?
I never really though about a support for a video card until I replaced my 8 yr old video card for a new one. wow did it sag after a few weeks. I was concerned I might pop a pin or dislodge it from the motherboard. I thought maybe it was defective but soon learned that the newer cards are very heavy. I found this little guy and bought it right away. it is holding strong like a stone mountain. super easy to install. supports the card very well.

Build and packaged way better than it needs to be.
The packaging was gorgeous. Like, this is a black metal stick that holds up your fat GPU, because that's where we are at today with technology. You need to buy a stick for your fat GPU. But the packaging had thick, dense foam. That's not necessary. It's a black stick. The box it was in had foil lettering, front AND back. Again, it's a stick. It holds things up. The foam separated all the items with far more spacing than was necessary. I'm no expert in packaging, but I'm pretty sure you could have put a stamp on a ziploc bag and this would have worked just as well. It's a stick! It's a GPU crutch. And yet this thick foam core separated all the components with way more room and symmetry than was required. Time will tell if my particular metal stick suffices, but if they put 10% as much effort into the product as they did with the packaging, it'll be far more premium than is really required. Looks great in a black computer case. I wish we didn't need it, but then again, RTX 3080s are selling for >$2400 on eBay and they're so fat that you need something like this. It's... a nice stick, but you should really buy it for the packaging.

I have a 3-fan GPU, and this completely stopped it from sagging! I had my doubts that it would hold my GPU up well, since it's sort of curvy instead of flat (I guess because the designer thought it would make it look cooler), but even with the curve, it still holds it up perfectly! It doesn't cover any of the fans, it just holds up the non-attached corner of the GPU, making it stay level instead of sagging like it normally would. I was worried that I'd have to try to make my own custom support that better fit the curve of my GPU, but luckily this did the trick! Highly recommend to anyone with a similar issue, and don't worry if your GPU is curvy like mine. It still works great!

I wanted a prop stand instead of one of those brackets that'd eventually just add to the sag. Most prop stands come with a magnetic base, which is fine if you have nothing below your stand. I have a storage HDD in the enclosure below, it's one of those spinning rust piles, and didn't want to risk it. This stand is perfect, it merges into my black case and build, and does a great job of holding up my chonker of a GPU. Friends were sad that I replaced my sawed off chopstick with this, the meme's over, I have no regrets.

purchased this bracket over the other style that requires the mount points below GPU bracket simply because many said they didnt always fit right and it makes more sense to have support right under the heaviest point without support. easy to adjust and set height. totally universal between any builds.
