They play easily while maintaining the more traditional tone. .115 - 47 silk and steel play well but are very mellow tonally. Alot has to do with the guitar itself and of course personal preference. Additionally, you may have to set the guitar up again. The strings will ride slightly lower in the saddle and nut. And they will not pull the neck as much. No easy way other than trial and error. I have 17 acoustics and have tried several sets on each guitar before settling on what I like on that particular guitar. Only 2 of the 17 uses the same strings.
