Review: Glue - Surprisingly what is advertised is true. I had a large terracotta flower pot outside that got hit by a fallen tree limb and literally broke in half. I bought this strictly by what it advertised and was impressed. Within a few minutes the pot was back together and holds up nicely.

**Q: Is the flex seal glue clear paintable?**

**Q: Does it work on foam? I need to secure a foam (sound proofing) headliner to the roof of my jeep. Will this hold for that and in the heat of a vehicle.**
A: We haven't tested it for that specific application but it seems it should work. Flex Glue once fully cured withstands temperatures up to 200°F. Due to the number of variables involved in this application, I would recommend testing a small area first to confirm adhesion. Here are some friendly tips for best results: 

Before Use:
1.	Start with a clean surface free of such things as grease, oil, dirt and algae.  
2.	Unscrew the cap and cut the nozzle to the desired length.

During Use:
1.	Apply liberally to one side of the surface to be bonded. 
2.	Apply firm pressure continuously for a minimum of 10-30 seconds for instant grab to take hold. 
3.	Object may be repositioned within 10 minutes of application if needed.  
4.	Product cures in 24 to 48 hrs.

After Use:
1.	Squeeze a small bead from the opening to form a plug. 
2.	This plug will cure, sealing in the remaining product.
3.	Simply remove this cured plug or cut it off to reuse the product.

**Q: Will flex glue work on rubber mats that will be glue down to both aluminum/fiberglass boat hulls**
A: Yes, believe it should, but it will be permanent. I have done a similar thing in my boat and I used rubber silicone and it worked great. Also, it is easier to replace if needed.

Don't waste your time and money on Flex Glue, as it's nothing but a marketing gimmick. I just recently used a Flex Glue for the 2nd time, including this one. Not only does it NOT Flow smoothly, you have to cut the nozzle to the base and then Squeeze down hard to get appears to be a semi-solid glue and leaky fluid. In the past, I used their Roof Sealer /Adhesive can, white, it went on ok but then the next AM, it had "shrunk" into a NON-bonded, white Shoe Sole, a complete Failure. Flex customer support > > Never responded. THERE are OTHER companies with some really great product lines not only for Less, but they actually work 200% better than "flex". Depending of the Indoor or Outdoor Project - I will use GE Silicone Clear cartridge (30 min set time!), or, use 3 types of Gorilla HD / Mac glue (white / clear), and, occasionally Rutland Fireplace mortar. Got walking or running shoe's to fix a detached sole? Gorilla Clear Glue (liquid) , 3.75 ml, is awesome! Dead EZ to apply and cures over-night.
