Nice after market safety upgrade.
My wife has a newer vehicle and she has a built in HUD. Works great. Installed this on 2009 Honda Accord and I love it. Easy install. Very accurate. I did not have to install the reflective sticker as it is bright enough. A nice after market safety upgrade.

Triggered my ABS (brakes)
I hooked it up to my ODB2 port on my 2001 LS 430. Pros: Displayed the speed Cons: Triggered my ABS (automatic braking system โ the thing that make the brakes go on and off really fast in an emergency) the moment I started to drive. After careful consideration, Iโve decided the cons outweighed the pros. (Luckily, unhooking it and restarting the car eliminated the problem.)

Works, not great
Good for the price I guess. We used but wasnโt great so quit using it

Great price and high quality
Love this device perfect to fit my Lexus 300h! Super impressed with this unit and it was well worth the money and effort. As for head-up displays I'm definitely a convert. It released my eyes off the road even if only for a second unlike having to look down at the speedometers.

Exactly what I needed.
I love this little gadget. I have a 2015 Jeep Patriot and for some reason this cars have an old style odometer that's too small and hard to see. I love how the brightness is automatic and it's very easy to see on a sunny day. You can use it with or without the reflective film on your windshield. And pretty accurate too. I hooked mine straight to the obd for better performance.

Caution possible fire damage
Plug the product in, is not reading anything properly. Within a minute there was a pop and smoke and burning smell. Unit stopped working and under 5 minute of use.

A great idea, but, no.
The features I was asked to rate 1-5 are brightness, ease of installation, and accuracy, and confessedly all of these are a 5-spot: The device is absolutely bright and able to perform even in bright daylight conditions. It was exceedingly easy to install, with a perfectly-fitting OBD-II connector and no troubles at all running the cables. It also has a very good update frequency (perhaps 0.75 seconds per tic) and was spot-on when adjusted using the instructions. The instructions are a must-follow, as some calibration is likely required; in my case voltage was a very serious problem out of the box but very, very easy to rectify following the instructions, setting Variable 10 to 13.5v resting voltage, and again on the road here and there with stoplights as I tweaked Variable 01 to read the right speed. I'd have kept the device no problem save one thing: It constantly, constantly failed. I expect one thing from such a device, and even variations in speed or a lagging update frequency would be acceptable, but it must do at minimum two things: 1. Not detract from my already-excellent car. 2. Function as intended every time. On condition 1, I was able to relatively get it to do what I wanted. The included sticky-patch wasn't sufficient to hold it in place, but another quality adhesive patch held it in place. After adjusting the voltage, all was well. However... On item 2? Forget it. I am an analytical person, and so I look for patterns and try to isolate variables. I could not figure out any discernible pattern of behavior with this unit. Sometimes I started up and it worked great the entire drive. Sometimes I started up and it didn't work at all after a brief "0.0 v" display. Sometimes I started up and it worked great for 5 minutes, then died. Sometimes I started up and it worked great for 5 minutes, died, came back to life, and worked great for the rest of the drive. Sometimes I started up, it worked great, died, came back to life, worked okay, got weird, then fell over and sank into the swamp. I mean... c'mon. I'm patient, but at the end of the day, it ended up providing more distraction than enhancement, and could not reasonably be described as working as intended every time. I am returning it in toto and have no plans to replace it; it was a nice idea, but for the money, invest in those things you stick between the seat and the center console so you don't drop a dime in the crack. It's just not worth the trouble, to my immense disappointment.

Good design, nice projection with curves.
Minimum Brightness is still High, for night time driving, It would be nice to change color (orange for Night and Whit for Day Time ) in night time and decrease brightness. The control buttons are placed in wrong side of device, I would suggest replace them opposite site, since it will be more convenient to switch from one mode to another. The MENU is very comfortable, and user friendly.

Great but takes time to start and stops in between
I bought this HUD 2 months ago. If you leav the display connected to your car via oBCD port then it wont take time to start but if you disconnect everytime and then connect it , it will take 2 mins to start. Also , the display automatically stops for a minute on two while driving. Not sure why is that happening.
