But not with all, It works with my JBL Xtreme, but my JBL Flip did not work. So happy to have another product that enhances the 30-pin infrastructure i invested in over the years — before it was Suddenly rendered as “obsolete” with Apple’s jump to lightning connection. It took a bit of patience the first time pairing this unit with The bluetooth Amp I am powering my outdoor speakers with, but it got there after some effort. It sounds quite good. The second time it seemed to pair quickly. A few hiccups then as i tried to utilize the splitter function and have it pair with second receiver (a coolstream insert onto an altec lansing boombox) that gave me a nice broad soundstage and enhanced the music further. I will see how things proceed from here regarding durability and power drain issues. But for now, this was a great purchase. I wanted a way to listen to music while riding my bike, but I did not want to use headphones or earbuds, as I like knowing when a car is behind me, especially at night when drivers forget to turn on their lights. I purchased a JBL Touch (portable bluetooth speaker) and attached it to my bicycle. I had to turn both the speaker and my iPod touch volume all the way up to hear my music over medium traffic. Now with this amazing little device I have two JBL Touches connected to my iPod touch and all three running at 3/4 full volume. I can hear my music loud and clear in heavy traffic and when I pass by or under freeways! The instructions are simple to follow. Remember like it says, if the device you are streaming music from has bluetooth built in, turn it off before you plug the bluetooth multi stream device in.
