Not very good
I've been playing guitar for 35 years — acoustic & electric; folk, blues, jazz, and classic rock. Seen a few picks, had a few favorites. For whatever reason my pile of picks dwindled next to nothing, and I decided to try something new. I was hoping a 18-piece variety pack would have both something similar to my current favorites, and something new and different I could use. There are 9 different styles, and I spent a while playing with each one. None are very good. They don't feel right, they don't sound that good. It's like somebody copied the appearance of common pick styles, but didn't bother with getting the details right. Out of the pack, there's 4 picks that I could get by with if I had to, but overall feels like a waste of money.

forget Fender and Dunlop picks!
I just got them today, but I have been playing all day. These are my thoughts and my friends:- cool looking- depends on taste, but we like them more than iconic fender and dunlop picks.- They are smoother; it feels like the way they are made it kind of slips when playing it makes you go from note to note faster. (Less resistance would you say?)- Some people like the fenders that have more resistance, but that is choice. I liked this the pick geek texture more.- when it came to sound, i guess it would depend on the guitar, your playing, fx pedals, and amp, but we did feel it sounds different than other picks..less disruptive because it is so smooth.- the PACKAGING is AMAZING- for the price it is worth the experimentation...even if you end up deciding these are not your picks...and if you don't like them...I will accept donations :)

different shapes and materials from advertised images
I purchased Pick Geek "Jazz".(1) I am happy with the qualities of these picks, but combinations of the picks I actually received are different from what's shown in the advertised images. In terms of shapes, the advertisement images show 2 pairs of shark-fin and 2 pairs of pentagon, but I received only 1 pair of shark-fin and 1 pair of pentagon. Regarding materials, the advertisement images show 3 pairs of delrin, but I received only 2 pairs of delrin.(2) There was another problem. I ordered "Jazz" but they sent me "Delrin" incorrectly. So I had to return the wrong item and spend another 10 days to get the correct one.

so after using Pick Geeks for the last year I can honestly say they're good and hold up to what I threw at them
Ok, so after using Pick Geeks for the last year I can honestly say they're good and hold up to what I threw at them. I compare them to Dunlops but with a bit more life in them. I play mostly punk and metal so I'm pretty rough on what I'm using and when using Dunlop picks I go with a .73mm, which gives me a little give and allows me to scratch my strings, giving them a little more crunch on the down strum. Suffice it to say, the Dunlops don't last for very long and tend to disintegrate after about 4 songs. I'm using D'Addario EXL130 Nickel Extra Super Light strings, which shred em pretty quick. I'm using the Pick Geek 0.8's now and they last about 8 to 10 songs before I gotta flip em over and use the opposite edge. I gotta go with what works and these last longer for me and what I play so they won me over. Thanks Pick Geeks (Antony Scott), I was doubtful but they hold up well! Will buy again!

I always lose picks so it is awesome to have this little organizer
This pick collecting came as a very pleasant surprise. First off the tin carrying case is certainly on point. I always lose picks so it is awesome to have this little organizer. What really earned the 5 stars here is the sheer quality of the picks that come. There are tons of different styles and colors to choose from. I have never played with some of these styles so it has been a lot of fun going through them and trying different strumming and picking patterns with them. All in all if you are looking for a high quality, eye catching pick set, look no further than this Pick Geek Jazz collection!

High Quality Picks with Convenient Container
These picks are great. They are a little bit pricey but there is a pick for every type of guitar player. I prefer thinner picks and there are multiple picks that suit my fancy. The colors are bright and vibrant. I wasn't sure how I felt about the face on the picks at first once they arrived and I saw it in person I really liked it. The face on the picks will start to wear out after heavy use.The carrying case fits well in my guitar bag and has a really cool opening mechanism. The one gripe I have with the container is that it is a little bit hard to open when there are a lot of picks in it (if you add more than it comes with). To open the container, you press in the middle of it until you hear a "pop" which lets you know that the lid is unfastened. To close it, place the lid back on the top and gently press on the edges. It should "pop" again and be locked in place. If you want a large selection of many different types of picks you can't really go wrong with these picks. The range of pick thicknesses are 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm thick. The colors that I got are white, gray-blue, bright blue, purple, purple-blue, purple, red, and yellow.

10/10 Would guitar again.
Great little picks. Never really use .9mm but all the .7mm are wonderful and unique. I primarily ordered them because i have had a brass metal pick for almost 20 years and this set came with two metal picks along with the neat shaped others. Very happy 10/10 would guitar again.

Great value, fun, interesting variety of nice picks
Just got this today, and I'm impressed with it and happy. Interesting colors, shapes and materials these picks are made of. The tin says Jazz ,I'm not sure if that's the style of play they were designed for but I'd guess you could find a pick in this tin for Any style. Some of the Heavies are tiny compared to what I'm used to but I didn't have much trouble with them, experienced guitarist probably would not either. It came in a nice closable cardboard box with a link to get some free guitar lessons which I will definitely utilize. Very good value

Read instructions about opening and closing tin.
Fantastic picks. Look great. Plenty of variety. Tin is excellent. Stylish. Play great. Missed note about push lid down to open and squeeze sides to pop shut at first so I pulled lid off and had trouble fitting back on. Since discovering the correct method to open and close the tin it's been fantastic. Comes in a nice box too.

great colours and good handling
The box is small and easy to open. It's great for keeping all of the picks in one place, and doesn't leave a weird odour like some other tins are reported to.The picks themselves come in a wonderful variation of colours and sizes (thin, medium and thick) and the finishing is high quality and smooth. Sometimes they're nice to just look at or flick through my fingers. There is no additional grip but they do not slip out of my hand when strumming or picking. The company logo is large but subtle and fits well. It does not make the product look tacky.Delivery was fast and the product arrived spotless. The supplier has been friendly since.

Great gift
The picks arrive in a tin, within a box, in another box. Beautifully presented. The tin has a quirky and practical lid (if you drop it the lid won't pop off and spill the contents) The tin comprises 4 Thin in 2 colours (flat white and white pearl) 4 medium (2 pink pearl and 2 rainbow/opaque) 4 heavy (2 yellow pearl 2 tortoise shell) and 4 extra heavy (2 tortoise shell 2 abalone shell) . Whilst there are 2 sets of tortoise she'll it is easy to tell them apart visually as well as by touch. I've purchased these to play bass so only intended to use the heavy & extra heavy. That said, I've been using the Medium rainbow pick without any issues. These feel very nice to hold and can't see them slicing my fingers open. I will be buying more.

Good quality, fun picks of various thicknesses
This pack is great for someone that uses different thicknesses of pick, a beginner who doesn't know what they need, or someone looking to experiment. They are nicely coloured and the logo is fun. The tiny metal box means you don't lose them. The only downside is that they aren't very grippy, but I haven't had any problems. The company also does a larger set where you can choose the thickness you want.

Fantastic
A while ago I lost a pick I’d been using for years. It was thin and felt like an extension of my fingers. I’d tried countless other “thins” and they were never the same. I don’t know what it is about these that is different but the quality is there, the feel is there and the comfort is there. Nifty little container too. I just wish you could get ones of all the same thickness as I don’t really need the other sizes. Still a great purchase and I wouldn’t have a second thought about buying them again should I ever need to
