I started using Glytone Mild Gel Cleanser when I was 13 after my dermatologist recommended it for my mild acne, and I’m 23 now and still using it every single day! It’s truly the best face wash I’ve ever tried. I have normal skin with occasional mild flare-ups, and this cleanser keeps my skin clear, smooth, and balanced without drying it out or causing irritation. Anytime I’ve tried switching to another brand, I notice the difference immediately and come right back to this one. It’s gentle, effective, and lasts a long time. If you have mild acne or just want a reliable cleanser that keeps your skin looking healthy and fresh, I can’t recommend this enough. Ten years later, it’s still my holy grail.

I have used this product for years and a very happy with it. Originally it was recommended to me by my dermatologist and she was right. It does not dry my skin and leaves it clean and refreshed. It exfoliates and has given my skin a smoother texture over time. The bottle lasts me a long time using nickel-sized portions when I wash. I recommend this product.

the components are great - my skin feels and looks better, but I have to use 3-4-5 pumps to really get enough suds action to clean my makeup off so I expect I will go through this quickly.

My teenage son and I have both used this for our skin- his adolescent and my old lady skin. It has helped us both and I subscribe and save so we don't run out. It is a bit pricier than drugstore solutions we have tried before, but the good reviews made it worth a try. It has been effective in clearing up acne without drying out our skin. Buying one item that works well for a bit more is better than throwing money away on a lot of cheaper alternatives and never landing on a solution.

This stuff has been a lifesaver! After using the Obagi face wash for years my face is finally clean! I have been using the glytone face wash for about 2 weeks now and when I clean my face it finally feels completely smooth underneath. When I say completely smooth I mean prior to using glytone's face wash I could feel bumps of bacteria trapped underneath my skin. Some of these would later turn into acne breakouts and some of them I assume my body would deal with but the ones that did turn into cystic acne would be awful, leaving scars for months. An estethician suggested that a glycolic acid cleanser would take care of this but I assumed Obagi was a glycolic acid cleanser and resigned myself to that being the best I can do. After trying glytone's body kit for exfoliation (because Obagi did not make a body line) I decided to give the face wash a whirl because the body kit did such a good job, and I am not disappointed! I have finally been able to deal with the bacteria trapped near the surface of my skin, curb the breakouts, and start to deal with the acne scarring left behind. Apparently while Obagi has glycolic acid in it it is either not a 'glycolic acid cleanser' if there is a threshold and if not glytone just has more glycolic acid in it, an effective amount, whereas Obagi does not for me at least.
