I purchased a different "universal" kayak jacket from same manufacturer..it was horrible! It rode up around my chin and the back of my neck when I sat down. (I am 5'1" 125lbs) I immediately sent it back and purchased this one in XS/Small. It is such a game changer for comfort! It doesn't ride up and has a front zip pocket with whistle. (Pocket not big enough for my cell phone but thats not a big deal). The adjustable shoulder straps and open sides make the fit perfect! Easy to move and row without bulk! If you are on the fence as to which jacket to buy, dont hesitate on this one. Highly recommend!

Fits perfect great for outdoors, kayaking stand up paddle boarding. Stays tight and easy to move in. I have bought 2 now.

Very comfortable for kayaking as you dont have a thick lump on your back. This is the third I have purchased as my daughter took over the others. Not overly thick, & sides are breathable. I wouldn't use any other life vest.

(Rating based on fit and style) It’s great for kayaking! It’s super light and easy to carry, and it fits just right in my kayak so the back sits above my backrest without bumping the seat. I’m a woman who’s under 5’4” and on the busty side, and I didn’t have any trouble with the fit. I also really like the orange, black, and grey color I got. 4/5 - I’m holding back a bit because I haven’t actually tested the float function yet since I haven’t capsized yet.

Bought this for kayaking. Tried this on in a store so I knew what size to buy. Glad I did as I would of gotten the M/L if I hadn’t tried on as the X-Small/Small is what I needed (I’m 160 lbs) Fit is great. Very comfortable. The store did not have the grey & orange as I wanted it to match my kayak thus the reasoning I ordered on Amazon. Slightly disappointed as it’s more of a red than orange & doesn’t match my kayak. The orange is not what it appears in the picture shown. Should of read other reviews to know this. Keeping it though to avoid the exchanging hassle. The life vest itself though is perfect!

Purchased for young teens. They love the jackets because they do not ride up around their ears when seated. Plus ventilation and excellent adjustability. No regrets!

Ordered xs/s after reading other reviews, and it was a good decision. I typically buy medium size tops (5’7” 143lb) and I tighten this vest to the maximum for perfect fit. Lots of room around arms for unrestricted movement when paddling. Love it. Delivery was delayed a few days but I was given a heads up on it and knew what to expect.

As advertised this P.D.F. is exactly like seen in picture minus the back mesh is slightly exaggerated. I have not found any indications of there being a CSA approved seal on this vest only that it's US Coast Guard Approved. The one thing which set me sort of on a 3 star rating is the simple fact that I ordered two vests and one came in on time the other is shipping out with another company and should arrive June 2nd. Also, which is sort of alittle absurd is the packing of this item which came in the box provided as in the picture I included. After trying on the vest it seems as it fits well and I would love to try it out right now I will need to wait a few weeks when I get some free time to go out kayaking. I'll hopefully be good incase I get in trouble with it not being "CSA Approved". The other fun part is that it also includes a whistle one of which any animals dogs and cats included aren't too fond of the sound and quickly scatter around the house.

Product same as pictured. Ordered an X-small, unfortunately had to return as I'm petite. The vendor was very kind and quick to respond.

I use this for kayaking and am 5'11 160 lbs. It fits me perfectly with minimal adjustment. Quality feels good so far after 1 season of use. The shape is great for paddle sports as the shorter back allows me to sit with my back flush against the kayak seat.
