A an aside, the airline tore a hole in the outside accessory zipper compartment and as of to date they will not stand by their responsibility to repair it claiming normal wear and tear. I filled it with a cart bag carrying14 clubs, a set of balls. It stood upright with ease. I could see if your bag was top heavy it may throw off the ability to stand up right.
