from a mechanical design engineers' opinion, this design is good, esp at this cost! it's sturdier than I expected. I have held it in both hands and tried to see if it twists like most thin plastic parts, and found that it doesn't. it has 5 positions for different viewing angles. that's nice. once I know which works on the side table near the couch, I'll hot glue it in that position, as it's lightweight enough that when you pick this up, it will likely lose the position you liked. also, nice silicone rubber feet don't let it slide around on the desk or side table surface. I am genuinely impressed with this low cost item, and for 2 of them.....I gotta say, I love it. Thankfully, I won't be making it out of some scrap wood in the basement....for once, I will have something not "hand-made" in my LR. sorry Dad... :( an no, I'm not being paid to write this. just an honest opinion from a mech design engineer!

These little phone supports are sturdy and they work so well! I can set one on my knee while in a recliner or on the arm of the chair and don't have to be holding my phone to watch a video, for example, or I can set it on the table by the chair or other place. Have one by my chair and one by my computer. Perfect for holding an I phone. They will also hold a tablet. Small, but mighty.

I slightly modified one to fit something thicker that it isn't actually intended for, but the other still fits and supports at least a Revvl in a case! If you have a Pop socket, though, a phone would sit awkwardly depending on where you have the popsocket. Only complaint would be that, like other reviewers have said, the back stand opens up easily when unwanted. Not really a big deal in my opinion, and I solved that with a rubber band when not in use. There are probably better, sturdier ones out there that actually lock in place rather than relying on ridges in the stand, but for the price and decent quality, these work just fine!

Great price and super easy to use in the car. This has been a godsend for letting my preschoolers watch something on my phone when they get restless. It folds easily, pops out easily, and is a great price for a 2 pack. It's small enough to easily store in my console without taking up space, but manages to hold my fairly heavy phone very sturdily, even on big turns.

What can I say? This is made from plastic with few moving parts and sold for about 5 bucks. I do UX/UI testing for a Software Company. I frequently have different devices in front of me to test the interface. I used to just place the device on the desk flat, but it got annoying having to slouch my head down to test a feature while looking at the instructions on a monitor. I ordered these and have been satisfied. It's not the most sturdy stand because it has moving parts, but I prefer it that it can adjust the angle because I work with non-PLUS size screens to tablets. Don't have high expectations and you'll be happy. Sometimes I have to use 2 to keep an iPad up.

I thought this was going to be another great find, but I should have known it was to good to be true. The price was way too cheap, so I should have put the breaks on right there, even though Amazon prices are awesome, these didn't come from Amazon, so I totally should have not gotten them. I thought it would be 2 great stands, and I did get 2 of them, but one was completely broken, and the other one just did not work at all. I mean 5.00 and change for 2 phone stands should have been my warning, but I did get a full refund, and the return process was so easy. I ordered a little more expensive stand, it was maybe, $8.00, which is awesome, and it is great! I absolutely love it! I love the color, the excellent quality, it is very sturdy, and the prompt delivery can't be beat!

I ordered two of the stands and when they arrived I oped the package and thought what the heck . It looked so small and to top it off.It wasn't just one but indeed I had received both of the stands. Then I thought this is going to be one of those items you order and its just junk. Well I was wrong. it held my phone at several different tilt angles .Then I got out the big guns for this very small stand. My 10 inch tablet. I just knew it would just fall over. Well it didn't. It holds My tablet just fine. I really like it and for the price .I'd but it all over again.
