GAME Pool Thermometer- Large Display, Easy to Read, Shatter Resistant Casing, for Outdoor and Indoor Swimming pools, Spas, Hot tubs and Aquariums

I’ve purchased and repurchased this items many times for myself and family members with pools. We love it. Overall it’s pretty sturdy and stands up to the sun and chemicals pretty well. Usually this thermometer lasts between 6-9 months before it craps out. But we never take it out of our pools. We let it circulate in the water constantly so it’s exposed to the elements non stop. The large screen is wonderful and the solar panels charge it and keep the display readable. It’s easy to use, pull it out of the box and essentially plop it in the water. Excellent value for the price.

I bought one of these to replace my old school mercury thermometer. It's really easy to use and set up. It worked as expected for a couple of days, but then it started reading incorrect water temperatures. Yeah, my pool is not at 99 degrees. So I called the number that came with the product. The customer service lady was really nice and she took time to listen to my issure. They asked me to send them my Amazon receipt. So I did , but I also sent them a picture of the thermometer reading 99 degrees. A few days later, I received a new thermometer at my doorstep. It's been about a month with the new one and it works great.

This is easy to use; it takes 5-7 hours to charge in sunlight (I didn't time this, as we had a cloudy day). Turn it on and leave it be. Perfect for busy lives. The display is easy to read for all ages. I tied it up so it doesn't get caught in the skimmer, which is why I was replacing an older thermometer, as it didn't have a way to anchor it to anything.

The first one I ordered stopped working after a month. Filled up with water like the seal was broke. Called the number for customer service and they called back the same day. Asked for the product number which she said was a bad batch and sent another right away. Interestingly enough the same product number, which I checked right away, was stamped on the item. Have had it floating in the pool now for a couple of months and so far no water seeping in and working well. So we'll see how it holds up as the summer goes along and very good customer service.

Didn’t last long before they became so cloudy one can’t read. Not sealed well? Humidity blocks viewing temperature. Threw them away!!!

Admittedly the one we bought three years ago is starting to go, but it's been outside constantly for 4 seasons. We compared it to other thermometers and it seems very accurate. really like the look and functionality so bought another one.

Great little device. Lasted 2 years and 3 months for us. Easy to read the temperature since the display is on two sides. It stopped working because water somehow got into it. Not bad though considering it is in the pool 24x7x365 in Florida sun! I just bought another one to replace it.

I have used this thermometer for one full season in an above ground pool and have just opened the pool for the second season. It has worked flawlessly and the water temp precisely matches the temp display on the heat pump heater. The only time I noticed condensation inside the thermometer is when the early morning fall temperatures moved to the cold side and the morning and afternoon sun warmed the day up. It wasn't an issue and didn't last long. I have not noticed any condensation from the thermometer getting submerged or from heavy rainstorms.

After only 3 weeks, water has been entering the thermometer. Now this water fogs up the sight glass. I hoped that this was a unique flaw and bought a 2nd one (stpid me). Same problem. Thermometer is NOT watertight. Don't waste your money.

More than I expected

Seems like decent quality materials. Accurate temperature readings and love that it is solar powered so I don't have to worry about batteries. Does the job it's meant to.

I love that I can read the display from a distance, I can see my pool from my sunroof window and I'm able to see the temperature, and decide if the weather here in canada has been warm enough to warrent a swim
