Review: Great quality, and easy to use! - When we decided to look for a highchair, I was dissapointed in what we could find. Everything was either plastic with too many parts to keep clean, or way too expensive to consider. Then my husband found the Keekaroo brand, and we fell in love. We ordered it the next day and couldn't be happier with it. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and in no time at all the high chair is put together. It looks great in our kitchen and is very sturdy. It seems very comfortable for our 6 month old daughter. Her legs aren't long enough to reach the foot rest, but that doesn't bother her at all. She makes huge messes in it, and it only takes me a minute to wash the plastic tray cover and to wipe off the seat and chair. Like another reviewer suggested, I leave the tray upside down when not in use so that I can settle her in one-handedly. The infant insert is one of the best parts of this chair. It helps our daughter sit comfortable so she doesn't tip over to the side. And unlike other high chairs this insert is easy to just wipe off when dirty, instead of having to unsnap, uncover, wash in a washing machine. The green is slightly darker than the picture here, but still a great color. The only con I can think of is that this chair doesn't fold, so we can't really take it with us on trips. But that doesn't really bother me. Review: Sturdy; easy to assemble - Good sturdy chair. It's heavy, as some have said, but that's because it's solid wood! I don't mind the weight, because it's less likely to fall over. And yeah it's not super easy to clean, but I've never seen one that is. They all get caked in gunk! Hahaha. At least the tray cover is easy to remove and wipe off. My main issue is with the infant booster seat and straps. The buckle only goes across my baby's groin, and the tray is right at his lap too. There are no straps over the shoulders and no supports on the sides. He's a small guy, so I was uncomfortable putting him in the chair for a while because it looked like he would fall over the side. The buckle is also really difficult to unfasten.. Which could be good for him, I guess, but annoying for me.. Especially since it's so low into his crotch lol. I don't recommend this for a smaller baby, but good once they're bigger.

I wish I had one of these for my first child
Recently I bought 2 of these chairs, one for my 6 month old son and one for my 3 year old daughter and I love them. I wish I had bought my daughter one when she was younger. Putting the chair together wasn't easy but it wasn't bad either. It is study and seems to be well made. it looks nice in my dining room and most importantly, it works well for my son. With the infant insert, the clips on the seat and the tray, my son in nice and secure. I would definately recommend the infant insert though. I wouldn't feel comfortable with him in there without it. he seems to be comfortable although if he starts throwing a fit it is possible for him to hit his head on the wooded back. I think he has done it once in the last 2 weeks. One of the features I like best is that you can adjust the seat height relative to the tray, which I have not seen on any of the 5 high chairs we have owned over the last 3 years. This would have been nice for my daughter since she is really short and I always felt like the tray was at chin height. It is nice for my son because he is huge and the chairs we have that worked for my daughter squeeze his little cute fat legs. It is also nice to know that this chair will fit him as he grows (my 3 year old loves hers and can now sit comfortably at the table without having to sit on her knees). A couple of the reviews I read mentioned that they wished it came with a plastic tray. Mine did, so apparently the company has improved that component. The tray snaps over the wooden part. Overall I am very happy with this chair and am relieved to finally have found one that works. Update: It has now been 1 1/2 years since I bought the chairs. My kids are 2 and 5. Both still like the chairs and still sit in them. They still look good and are in good shape. I also really like that the food wipes off of them really easily, even if it has dried on and been sitting for a while.
