Browning Lotion - All Natural Fast Dark Tan 8 fl.oz

I LOVE THIS!! This tanning lotion works so well. It leaves you with a nice tan with help from the sun of course lol! It doesn’t have a bad smell and gets you pretty tan fast.

I have been using the Maui Babe Bronzing lotion for a long time! I love the tan I get from it. I recommend using a dark bathing suit as sometimes it can stain. A lot of people complain about the smell - I've gotten used to it, it doesn't bother me as much. Of course, its not my favorite smell but the tan outweighs the smell for me. I apply sunscreen then add the lotion on top. I have done the lotion first and sunscreen after too. Just like being in any sun, you have to reapply the sunscreen. You can still get very burnt using this. I recommend being cautious with it. It works and you do not need to sit out for a really long time. Maui Babe is a go to in my beach bag!

I purchased the darker bottle on the right years ago on a trip to Maui. It was more gel like and much darker with a very strong coffee scent, it is shown on my lower arm by the wrist. It is much oilier than this new bottle, which sort of absorbed into my arm near the elbow. I can confirm both are liquid sorcery for the tanning enthusiast. I bought several bottles on the Island before leaving and this is the tail end of my last bottle. I was really hoping for the product I bought before, but this is not the same despite what the name says. Ordered the bottle on the left and my joy quickly turned to nausea upon opening the bottle. It cannot be understated how much this smells of soy sauce. The smell of coffee in my old bottles was pungent enough to last 10yrs, but it’s coffee so it is bearable. That said, the smell does dissipate a bit after a little while, but that initial smell of soy sauce is remarkable. And, thankfully, whatever this new formulation is has not changed the efficacy whatsoever. Interestingly, after I squeezed out the bits of the two for photos, I just mixed them together with my fingers and applied and it smells quite nice. Also, I like using regular coconut oil over my tanning products and that adds a pleasant smell over just about anything. I highly recommend, just fair warning on the scent.

Easily spreads without streaks and moisturizes as well, this browning lotion will give a lovely glow to even the whitest of us! Unable to “tan”, I’ve been grateful for the healthy, tan result I get with this browning lotion. I know it works great to maximize sun tans as well based on my friend’s use, but I apply after every shower to maintain a healthy color on my otherwise almost reflective white skin 😉. Somewhat oily after initial application, you need to wait a bit before putting on anything close to your skin, but I’ve never had it stain any clothing (including white pants). Without the ‘self-tanner’ scent, it feels luxurious and looks great.

Gives you a good tan, but SUPER hard to get past the smell. Not sure if I'll buy it again, just based on that.

I've been using this browning lotion for many years! If you want a deep, dark tan quickly, buy this lotion. Anytime I'm at the beach it's my favorite lotion. Beware, it does not contain SPF. So you have to first apply a SPF 30 or higher before using the lotion otherwise you could burn. Also be careful, not to get the lotion on your light colored swimsuit, clothes, or towel. It stained my white cover up. Took several washes to get it out.

This will be my 3rd time purchasing this lotion. I love the feel of it and the bronzing it gives initially. This has no SPF in it however, you can apply sunscreen first and then this afterwards to prevent any sunburns. It works as is states and gives me a dark tan and makes my skin feel soft & moisturized. Buy it if you love to tan like I do!
