Based on the original kick scooter, this Razor Special Edition Scooter is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest. The Razor Special Edition Scooter is built of high quality painted steel construction, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn't appropriate. And thanks to the 98mm inline-style 5 spoke urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk. The box has a picture of the apparatus that allows it to be adjusted for taller riders but when we opened the box the scooter is just one solid piece for the handle. It is not a big deal for us since our guys are only 4 and 6...they aren't to tall but for any one bigger I would suggest making sure the one you are getting is adjustable. We love the razor scooters and these will be just great, but I wish it would have been more clear that the handle is not adjustable. The handle is not adjustable
What a surprise it was when my boys opened the box only to find that the handle is not adjustable like their old ones (which they love and have ridden so much they needed new ones). The box has a picture of the apparatus that allows it to be adjusted for taller riders but when we opened the box the scooter is just one solid piece for the handle. Great Kid's Toy
Great Kid's Toy, It was well made in light weight Aluminum, not heavy steel as implied. Nice, but non-adjustable handle.

Buy another razor
We love the Razor scooter and it glides beautifully, but a nonadjustable scooter is a waste. I wish I would of bought another even if it cost more. We are disappointed, but daughter already opended for christmas so it is too late to return.

Razor Scooter
This is a great item for the money. We have two Razors, but this particular one is my least favorite. This one does NOT allow you to adjust the steering stick/handle down, while other Razor scooters will. If this is important to you because your children are still growing, be sure to inquire about this when purchasing these types of scooters. Other than that, I really can't complain.

Great
I intially bought this item for my nephew, but I had to buy one for my son as well. My son had the My first scooter- scooter, but once he saw this one for my nephew he said his was for a baby and that he needed one like this one. Great item my nephew and son ride them daily!

Not what I expected!
I've ordered 2 of these scooters for my boys through Amazon and was shock to find the handle bar is not height adjustable! All your other push scooters were made with adjustable handle bar - why not this model? I felt deceived as this fact is not stated anywhere in the description - even the manual included show all scooters with adjustable handle bar. It's ridiculous to have to pay shipping to send them back, so we're stuck with them being Christmas is nearing and kids are looking forward to them. Though I really want to get rid of them because every time I look at them I'll always think I felt cheated by Razor!

We love Razors!
I purchased 4 of these scooters for my kids upcoming birthdays. We have had razors in the past and these scooters met the great quality I was expecting. We got them at an awesome price. Buyer be warned, the height does not adjust. It isn't a problem for us, because are kids are fine without them being adjustable. *we have only been using it for a few days.
