Quality Filter
This has always been to a go to filter brand for my other vehicles and tried it out on this one and it hasn’t disappointed. This product is higher quality and is definetly worth the cost. This filter fit snug as well as the o ring.

As a jet engine technician, I believe I know a thing or two when it comes to the importance of proper engine lubrication. Remember folks: Oil to an engine is what blood is to a human: the cleaner, the better. Back in the day (circa 1990's), I use to run K&N oil filters in my drag racing Novas. I would drive them HARD. Dump the clutch at 7000 RPM on 10" slicks. bang through all 4 gears... gas pedal to the floor (nothing like a Muncie 4-speed whining). No mercy. Good times... indeed. Twisted Ford 9" 31-spline axles? Yep. Burnt a few Hayes clutch disks? Never, ever, have I suffered an engine failure. I take great pride in saying that as I blueprinted all my own engines. Anyhow... moving along. True, these filters are more expensive. Seeing how a piston and rod assembly use to cost me over $2k, spending $10 more on an oil filter is a joke. Makes sense, no? My buddies and I have dissected our fair share of dirty oil filters and let me tell you that K&N has always left me impressed when compared to Fram, AC Delco, Purolator, etc.. If you understand how an internal combustion engine works, you know that oil filtration is extremely important. It has to be able to filter the oil, yes, but without causing a restriction (starving) to the reciprocating assembly. The quality of the components found in K&N filters is of high quality. This is why I only use K&N oil filters whenever they are available for my vehicle... even if it's just for a 2021 Jeep Cherokee with a cute 3.2l engine ;)

The top of the oil filter doesn't pop in the bottom of cooler and breaks its a little bit bigger and different shape as other OEM oil filters and the spring on top really doesn't fit well. Just put old one back till new one arrives.
