I love these wooden cutting boards. They are made from good wood. I was using plastic and then realized it just wasn't safe for me. They are really thin. I did get a splinter after the first wash. But you could treat it with some olive oil. I threw mine in the dishwasher to see how it would come out, and the big one did warp/bow in the middle. But I use these as a lap tray for hot dishes for my 85 year old dad who eats in bed. So the warping wasn't enough to stop using them. If you need something small and thin, this is for you. And the handle makes it easy to hold when not in regular use. Also stores nicely since they are thin. Very light weight.
