I finished the last one a little over a week ago and decided I was done with neem. I actually used 2, gave one to my mom when she had some type of abscess and it cured it. Problem is I started sneezing, then I thought I was reacting to something in my house. I got my vents cleaned a few months ago. Then I turned the heat off and I was still suffering. My sinuses were overpowered! I've been miserable and I've been having sinus headaches again. Only thing that relieves it bis sudafed but I haven't taken any in over a year so I didn't want to restart. Well yesterday I was so miserable, couldn't breathe so I went to the expensive pharmacy at 10pm and got zyrtec d. Yes, I feel much better. Headache is gone, no sneezing, itchy ears, can breathe through both nares and don't feel congested. Well hindsight made me realize the only change I've had was stopping neem. And I also know I had improvement when I started this as stated in my other review. I'm not sure how safe this is long-term but I haven't experienced any side effects and it sure beats spending 24 bucks for 24 pills of zyrtec D. So desperation brought me back. The price of these pills has increased a lot but it's still way cheaper than zyrtec. Review: Great for immune booster - I have used neem supplements for quite a few years now and have purchased from many suppliers. This one is just as good as any and less expensive. The expiration date is also a long way away. I worked in a primary school and now I am a nurse, so I work around multiple sick people all the time. I have a strong immunity, but even if I do get a cold, it usually only lasts 2 days at the most and then I feel fine. During times that I know I am around lots of viruses, I bump up my intake to two capsules, twice a day. If you have taken it for a long time like I have, you should give your body temporary breaks from it. I have read that this makes it more effective. I'll take it for 2 straight weeks, and then stop for a couple days. Not that you NEED a vacation, as it has no side effects, but this has worked well for me. I swear by using neem. Working around snotty kids coughing in my face for several years and now in a hospital setting convinces me that it works well. Well, come to find out being shoved through my bike a la car can rearrange some of your internal plumbing-- hiatal hernia was one of the souvenirs I walked away with. Anyway, whatever happened my digestion just went off-the-wall bad and as it got worse my nasal discharge got worse. I started taking this for the digestion but if I don't take it, my nose starts dripping into my throat again.
