Reading Pillow XL and Detachable Neck Roll with Shredded Memory Foam, Great as Backrest for Books or Gaming - 60cm x 40cm (Sit up Pillow)

This is by far the best support cushion I have purchased. The memory foam is compact yet provides exceptional comfort. Although it is heavy, this adds to its overall quality. It would be perfect for a young child to use while watching TV, thanks to the supportive side arms. I really like the grey color and the plush material. After allowing 12 hours for the pillow to fully expand, it’s ready to use. As someone who is almost bedridden, I find that this cushion helps alleviate my pain. You can also use this pillow or armchair independently, as it is sturdy enough to stand alone.

For years I have been using a number of bed pillows as support when watching TV from my small double bed (picture attached). During lockdown, I decided it was a priority to improve this situation and began looking for suitable solutions. It didn't take me long to discover this item (I had a 3 pronged pillow for flying based on a similar system) and after reading the favourable reviews, decided to give it a go. I am 5' 11" tall and average build, so opted for the extra large 24" version and can confirm that I'm glad I didn't get the standard size, as this bigger one is much more suited. I left it to expand for a full 48 hours before use, but don't really use the detachable neck roll much as it feels too stiff and pushes my head forward. I can almost melt into the pillow itself and it feels much more comfortable for me without it. The only time I have employed the neck roll is if I am sitting bolt upright, which tbh, isn't often. I also have a herniated lower disc in my spine but have had no issues with discomfort so far using this pillow. It's great for lazing around on and perfect for using as great support from your bed when watching TV or reading etc. Recommended. Update: Nearly a year in still happy with this, the only negative is that due to it employing memory style foam, it becomes compressed over time and saggy in certain areas. I had to buy some more to top it up to make it more solid again, other than that still a great purchase. Update (Sep 2022): Still love it, though it doesn't seem to matter how much foam I add to it, still gets compressed over time. Small price to pay for the comfort it offers though. Update (Nov 2023): Still a fantastic pillow, the issue with compression of memory foam remains though.

It's massive and heavy but very comfortable to lean back into the foam. It takes up a lot of space so make sure you have a big bed. Also, it is very expensive and feels a little overpriced; however, the materials for the cover are soft, and the backrest gives great support. The arms don't do too much, and the head pillow, when attached, won't be used unless you're very tall and your head reaches it sitting upright. It is good that you can detach the head pillow so It can be used elsewhere. Overall, it is 8/10. It has a good design. The shape returns to normal after many uses, and it is very comfortable, but it's expensive and requires a lot of space.

Super comfy and perfect for reading or watching tv fits well on bed. It was well-packaged and fluffed up really quickly after opening. The cover is easy to remove and wash, which is a big plus. It is on the pricier side compared to other options, but the quality and comfort make it worth it!

I am so pleased with this reading pillow, it’s much bigger than most of the other pillows available, lovely quality feel to the fabrics and the little roll cushion included makes it doubly perfect for me. The back is tall enough for me to sit up properly and relax against the back which helps me to not end up with a very painful neck, I can’t recommend this pillow enough, it’s worth every penny. I have never been one to lie in bed and read or watch TV, well now I do and I’m so comfortable and good support helps with pain relief in my back and neck muscles.

Excellent pillow, very comfortable for sitting up if you can't lay down properly in bed, side arms feel like like cuddles &, give support & warmth. I've copd so difficult breathing & this helps no end, was apprehensive cos of price but best purchase ever. If you've medical issues need sitting up, support when sleeping/ snoozing this is a must. So glad I purchased.

Initially comfy, but very compressable so after a few minutes it doesn't offer much support. Much more concerning is this included warning. Not quite sure how it passes UK fire regulations?

I have lots of issues with my spine and have tried a few different types of cushion similar to this. But I have to say this one in particular offers much more support and I can actually get comfortable. The detachable head/ neck cushion is really useful as well! I love it! The only slight downside is the weight of it. Because I have to be very careful what I lift and how I lift it due to my condition, it is heavier than some other cushions because of the memory foam but it does have a carry handle which helps. Still the best I’ve tried though! Thank you

Me la pasaba incómodo leyendo en la cama apilando dos almohadas para leer y era horrible, incómodo, y afectaba mi ritmo de lectura. Busqué opciones de algo que me ayudara a recargarme en el muro y escéptico compré esta almohada. Definitivamente la mejor compra para solucionar mi problema, además de que también me permite trabajar desde mi cama ahora que tenemos que hacer home office. La almohada es suave, comodísima, y se siente como si alguien te estuviera abrazando por atrás. Además de que te puedes recargar de distintas formas en ella (con la espalda recta o encorvada) y es igual de cómodo. Si tienes problemas para trabajar/leer en cama y quieres cuidar tu espalda, ¡no lo pienses dos veces! Por cierto, yo la compré por menos de $1200, entonces ten eso en cuenta a la hora de tu decisión, y si el precio que te aparece es mayor, te sugiero esperar a que baje para comprarla (baja el Keepa para Chrome para estar al pendiente).

So I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out. When I talked to the dentist they said that I would have to sleep sitting up for a few days to help with the swelling and such. This pillow as basically my home during my recovery. It is also great for just being in bed in general and watching TV or reading. The pillow is very heavy once it is completely inflates. I gave it about 2 days to totally inflate and that seemed good. The smell doesn't really go away for about 5 days but it isn't that bad, especially if you are drugged out from having your wisdom teeth taken out. I did not think I would be able to sleep as well as I did with this pillow. I don't know if it is bad for your back or neck to sleep like this all of the time but the pillow was comfortable enough that I was able to get sleep and that my partner did not get annoyed that there was a huge pillow in the bed with us. The only thing I'm not sure about is the handle but I didn't take a star off for that. I don't know if the handle will really support the weight of the pillow over time but since I don't plan on carrying it by the handle I don't think this will be a problem.
