Transcend Adhesive Mount for DrivePro Car Video Recorder (TS-DPA1)

I have a Transcend Drive Pro 220 Dashcam and use it in both my car and motorhome. Last year I used the suction mount in the motorhome and the fixed mount in the car. The fixed mount worked great in the car so I replaced the suction mount with this fixed mount in the motorhome, a great improvement.

This is a better solution than the removable suction mount. It's more compact, allowing me to hide it behind the rear view mirror, and it seems to be holding up better under the southern california's scorching sun and heat.I got this because the suction cup, which is actually pretty good and lasted a long while before it lost the suction after a long, hot, scorching summer day. No complaints. And I love the fact that they didn't try to charge me an arm and a leg for it.

I purchased this to put on my windshield for my video camera, and it stays put and holds up to the vibrations of road bumps.

After having used the suction mount for a while so as to ensure exactly where I wanted to place the Transcend dash-cam I went ahead and installed the adhesive mount to more securely hold the camera. The suction mount would come unstick and fall of the windshield if the car was parked in strong sun on warmer days. The adhesive mount solved that problem. It's also slightly more compact as compared to the suction mount so I found it easier to tuck the camera a little further behind the rearview mirror so it's not as noticeable.

Did not fit my camera. Got it to stick on mirror but lasted one day. Went back to my old one

PROs,more reliable that the suction cup mount, slightly lower profile. Con, Not removable. Where you mount it it stays.

No more falling off! Kind of over priced for what it is. If you have a windshield like me that has little plastic dots on it this mount is the only way to go.

Meine Erfahrung ist, dass Saugnapfhalterungen immer wieder von der Scheibe abfallen.Die Klebung ist nach Jahren noch perfekt aber auch etwa im Fall des Frontscheiben- oder PkW Wechsels mit einem Glasschaben wieder ohne Schaden am Halter oder der Scheibe ablösbar - Fingerspitzengefühl und Geschick vorausgesetzt.Ein Zweites Klebepad ist im Lieferumfang enthalten.Damit es nicht schief angeklebt wird hat es sich für mich bewährt eine Linie parallel zur Schreibenkante außen mit Folienstift anzuzeichnen und auch die seitliche Positionierung von außen auszumessen und anzuzeichnen um dann von Innen den Sockel korrekt an diesen Markierungen orientiert ansetzen zu können. Der Folienstift lässt sich üblicherweise mit Alkohol spurenfrei abwischen. - So habe ich bei der Erstmontage noch kein zweites Klebepad benötigt.
