Review: Highly recommended - Had it about a month now. Well made. Lots of choppng options. Very fine and easy thickness adjustment but I tend to use max and middle settings most of the time (8 and 4 mm). Takes a little while to get used to the adjustment and mode mechanism but easy once understood and used a few times. Easy to clean with brush/cleaner provided and fast running water. Folds away neatly. Found its best to use on a tray with squiggy fruit and veg as some liquid tends to escape the catch tray. Very fast cutting. Excellent for consistent thickness sweet potatoe slices but a slighly thicker setting than the max of 8mm would be useful. Fantastic for slicing salad and vegatables. Really pleased we purchased this particular product.

**Q: How do you sharpen the blades?**
A: I can see no way of sharpening the blades, and no need for light domestic uses. For professional or heavy duty use you might need a different and more robust item.

**Q: Will this chop peeled butternut squash ?**
A: Yes - it will chop more or less anything so long as it's cut to fit into the chute. I've used for both sweet potatoes and ordinary potatoes, so squash should be no problem.

**Q: in the vid it shows how to make crisps with holes in how do u do that**
A: I do not know the answer but I presume you would use a corer to cut a hole in the potato before slicing and frying.

**Q: Does this have a warranty?**
A: The manufacturer is obliged to provide warranty, and Amazon would anyway.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very easy to use

I found this item to be very easy to use. It is easy to set up and adjust the cutters. The cutting action is simple, effective and keeps your fingers well out of the way of the very sharp blades. It folds up to minimize storage space, although this does still leave the 'hopper' into which you feed the things to be sliced, but there's not really a way around that. Cleaning is reasonable easy, although sometimes things do get stuck in the blades, but a small cleaning brush is supplied to get into those awkward places. I've had various types of cutter and mandolins in the past, but this is probably the one I like best and definitely the safest to use.
