Our gate was already an extended version but the walkway between the front and the back of the house was just a little bigger. We got by with an old plank of wood which unfortunately would stick and take the paint off our walls (as seen in the picture) to make it try and fit the space. The dogs would run into it or try to climb over the fence and it would slip and fall down and damage our walls. Cue these amazing little things! We were able to not only get rid of the mismatched plank of wood, but the gate is seriously sturdier than ever before and we don’t have to extend the screws out nearly as far. Didn’t even have to screw these extenders into the wall, they are wide enough that they distribute the pressure better than the wall damaging feet, and the rubber backs really are sticking well. Even took down the gate and no paint went with it, so I’m excited to actually touch up the wall now since it’ll stay.
