I'm so pleased with these EPA capsules - I know that Heathspan is not allowed to make any medical claims for their supplements but I researched ways to reduce my triglycerides & pure EPA seemed to be the answer - there is a similar prescription-only product now available in the UK but I wanted evidence to take to my GP. I am vegan (3 years) & my headline cholesterol is low, however my triglycerides and 'good' cholesterol were not great unfortunately. I've been taking two of these pure EPA capsules a day for 7 months & recently had my bloods done & hallelujah, my triglycerides have reduced by 28% to a now 'acceptable' level!! Now, this may be completely unconnected - I have lost 14lbs in weight in the same timeframe, however my overall diet is the same. No other ill effects or manufacturing defects to report. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive but science-backed *by A***S on 17 December 2021* This is very expensive for an omega3 supplement - healthspan's own "super omega 3" has 1200mg of omega3 (almost the same as this) and is a third of the price. The difference is that this is higher quality omega3 for athletes or those doing endurance sports because it has more EPA (for anti-inflammation) and less DHA (good for brain health).
