Rust-Oleum 223525 Stops Rust Multi-Color Textured Spray Paint, 12 oz, Aged Iron

Perfect color and texture for my diorama … a 1:6 scale brownstone made of raw wood, cardboard and gaff tape. I used two coats.

I replaced the roof on a shed with metal that was supposed to be colored but was more plain grey. Looked bad from the deck. Sprayed this and the shed disappears in the forest. Has now lasted 6 months with no deterioration. Took 3 cans to cover about 60 sqft. No splatter or drip. The nozzle is nice for adjusting spray. Keeps waste down. I sprayed the green steel fence posts that have white tops. No need for reflection since it’s just the backyard dog enclosure. I changed from sweep to stream on the nozzle and sprayed 40 Five foot posts. Looks great.

Not bad, nice sand-like texture, but compared to the same texture Krylon paint, it dries much longer and if being sprayed in a too thick layer it creates never-dry splashes, which Krylon doesn’t do

This paint has terrible coverage. You need several coats to cover a contrasting color, and at least two for a similar color. Furthermore, the spray nozzle button is difficult to control. You either get too little paint in a certain area, or too much and a puddle. I had one can stop spraying after about 15 seconds of use. Full can but seemingly no gas remaining. I ordered multiple cans for a patio furniture refresh. The more I use it, the more I hate it.

I am always happy with the results of using Rust-Oleum paints. This is no exception.

As some reviews stated, this runs out quickly. Had a metal bar stool that the arms were well worn. The can lasted for about half the stool. The paint is so thin if you hold it less than two feet away it will quickly run. Obviously by spraying two feet away much of the spray is going into the air and not hitting the stool. Once dry it did not even cover. You really need to paint the item first with a complementary color and the use this product to add texture. Will need at least three more cans to do two coats. Even then I am not sure it will cover. What a waste of money.Update: After adding another coat the stools looked beautiful. The product dries to a nice finish. Feels like fine sandpaper. While it still did not cover, if you are painting something that is close to the same color you can miss spots on purpose to save on paint and will not be able to tell the difference. I revised my rating to 3 stars to reflect how nice the finished product looks

El color es fantástico, lo malo fue que llegó usada la lata (a la mitad) y tuve que comprar nuevamente el producto para poder pintar completamente la pieza. Y me di cuenta que estaba usada la lata porque la que adquirí en otro lugar me alcanzó para 3 pasadas y la que ellos me enviaron sólo alcanzó para una 😔

Great coverage and a perfect match to my patio dining set. Too bad it's out of stock.
