Replacement Lenses for Oakley Half Jacket 2.0 XL OO9154 Sunglasses

I was a bit 'skeptical' when I bought these, seeing as how they were not 'Oakley' Branded lenses. I have been wearing them for the last several weeks, and I am VERY pleased with them. They look AWESOME, I catch myself looking in the rear view mirror as I'm driving, just to get a glimpse of how cool I look in the glasses. The tint is great, and with all the snow here in Idaho, the polarizing effect has been much appreciated. I was concerned that they may scratch easily, but I have had them for several weeks now, and cleaned them a few times - and so far, no scratches, and no noticeable 'wear' in the tint. I have been told that even the 'Oakley' Brand lenses will scratch easily unless taken care of properly - and as far as I can tell, these lenses are the same. The fit is excellent, and installation was a breeze. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you. Wade.

Revant's customer service is great. I ordered 3 pairs of lenses, and only 2 arrived from Amazon. I contacted Revant telling them what happened and they sent me the third pair of lenses right away. Extremely happy with the company and their service. Additionally, the lenses are awesome. I am a fly fishing guide and wanted to be able to use my Half and Flack Jacket's on the water. The original glasses came with non-polarized lenses, and when I saw the price of polarized replacement enses from Oakley, I said forget it. Then, after reading a few reviews about Revant lenses, and seeing the price, I decided to order a couple to try out. The lenses fit perfectly into my glasses, the polarization is great, and I am extremely happy with the product. It looks like most of the bad reviews are because the lenses don't fit. I think if you take the time to make sure you are ordering the correct lenses for the correct frame you should have no issue. They have a picture guide for comparing your frames and which lenses to purchase from them...use it. As I said, mine fit perfectly, and they perform great for the application I am using them.

Awesome price, half that of buying Oakley's lenses. Overall they were easy to put into the frames and quality is very good. The only thing I've noticed is when looking at my phone or control panel for my car radio you can get odd blue reflections - they aren't so bad you can't see but almost the same shimmering you see when you look at gas spilled or through bubbles if that makes sense, kind of a rainbow effect. Not sure if you get that with the Oakley polarized or others since in the past I haven't noticed it with my polarized or normal lenses. They look great though and I like the filtering but overall just such a good price for polarized colored lenses - can't beat it.

These are a great alternative to replacing with name brand Oakley lenses. They are very slightly loose in my frames, which is why I have 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, they are great! They fit well enough for occasional use, the color is spectacular, and mine at least look fine when I am looking through them--no distortion, no weirdness. I often switch between these lenses and a clear set of safety lenses for work, and I also switch between several pairs of sunglasses, so these aren't getting a "FULL TIME" workout, but none the less, I like them quite a lot.

The right side Revant lens fits , not so the left. I measured the lens width using calipers between the bumps that hold the lenses in place, the Revant lens is 1.2 mm wider (63.4 vs 62.2) than the Oakley original and I could not insert it into the frame for worry to damaging it. I ended up filing some off both of the bumps and made it fit. They are also a bit thicker than the Oakley lenses but fit in the groove. Other than that, the lenses seem to be good quality.

These lenses are perfect for folks that actually use their glasses and have many scratches . These lenses are slight bit smaller than the factory ones that work just the same. The material seems to last despite the abuse from the user.

These lens appeared nice in the photos, BUT just like most media, photos are deceiving. PROs: 1) The where the correct "shape". 2) Price is nice (but not worth it). CONs: 1) The "mirror shield" was barely noticeable (at least on the "Midnight Sun Mirrorshield - Polarized"). The lens where completely see though with only hint of mirroring at best. Unlikely the misleading images in the product description. I understand they will be see though in some lighting/angles of view, but no matter where I tried them (inside/outside, bright/dim lighting) they didn't compare. 2) The lens where very thin; maybe 2/3 the thickness of the true Oakley lens. This causes the lens to not fit tight and more important makes me question the protection the lens provides and their durability in the event of trauma (I don't care if the lens survives, so long as it protects my eyes as much as possible).

The lenses are of decent quality. They had a lower tolerance than the Oakley lenses so they don't fit as tight. If you shake the glasses you might feel them wobble around in their socket, but they won't accidentally pop out no matter how hard I shake. It is annoying that they do sometimes pop out when cleaning the lenses. The lenses also give a more yellow or greenish tint whereas my Oakley lenses have a more blueish tint. BOTTOM LINE: For the money I think it is a good deal. I might buy a more dark pair this winter and do a comparison. UPDATE: I talked to customer service and they exchanged my lenses free of charge, they even paid for return shipping. Also, I asked them if I could change the color of the lenses I bought and they said, "no problem". Their customer service department is great and very responsive.They informed me that the lenses were probably just a one off for fitting issues. The new pair of lenses they sent me are fantastic and had none of the problems I had before. I could not be happier.
