It’s funny how unintuitive this is!! I have this same problem I use the keyboard and want to change color as I change it according to the device I’m using so I know it’s paired with it. The instruction booklet has this information in it though and if you Google the product and model number there is an online manual if yours didn’t come with one. It’s Function Key Fn and Alt, then up or down arrow key for each color. Easy right, but so hard to remember…

Does it work with an amazon firestick on a tv?

It should if you can use other keyboards with it but many of the things that don’t work are often the fault of the other products poor interface which won’t work with any keyboard properly.
