This is just great. Worth every penny. Followed the milk first use instructions on the video on tube and yeah we shall see but it’s lovely.

We have been looking for a copper kettle for ages and this product is ideal for us , size wise , looks good and is of great quality . Well pleased and delivered in only 4 days and extremely well packaged . Outstanding service on all counts .

Was a little disappointed with the packaging, no box just bubble wrap, ended up having to buy a box for it as I was giving it as a gift

I read a lot of reviews before buying this ( just over a month ago). I thought people who said it was fake may not be familiar with copper. I wasn't put off by the possibility of staining, because copper does that. But the first time I tried to clean it with copper cream, I tested the base and the deep orange colour came right off. It looks almost silver underneath, maybe a faint pinkish tone. The copper cream lightens my copper pans very slightly too but not too the same extent at all and the colour on my genuine copper pans is maintained. The kettle which is actually supposed to be a heavier ply than my pans does pass a magnet test but I do wonder if we're dealing with copper plate here, and I certainly don't think you can use copper cream to clean it as other reviewers have suggested. Also genuine copper items shouldn't peel as some reviews have indicated. I don't have peeling but I'm not sure about the piece. It's heavy and hand made which is nice but the lid fits poorly and I am still not sure if I've been cheated on quality here. Is this item what it says it is?

I love this kettle it doesn't take long to boil on a gas hob, very well made, the only downside is the lid it could do with being a tighter fit when you tip it to get the last bit of water out it will fall off. It becomes discoloured after about a week of use but cleans up really well with a bit of tomato ketchup on a cloth, overall very happy

Looks great and is kept simmering on the Rayburn. 2 small issues: the knob gets hot, the spout is narrow and the water flows a bit slow. Well made & good value.
