TERRIBLE MAKE! Wired all backwards, cheaply made, terrible design.
This thing took about 3 hours to build (and it was me, my dad, and my mom all working on it). My dad is an engineer so he put the technical part together, and my mom is the crafty one so she and I put the dome together. The design didn't make any sense regarding the last hole that is supposed to go over the light, so we ended up just leaving out one sheet so the light could fit into the dome. Our plastic sheets for the dome started cracking and breaking as we were gluing the pieces together. After it took hours to build, the light wasn't working and my dad realized that they wired the entire thing backwards, so he literally had to do some technical surgery with the wires in order for it to simply turn on. After we got it to finally work, the light itself wasn't satisfying at all. it just looked like blurry dots on the walls. Overall, I regret buying this product. We ended up just trashing it. I'm going to buy another kind.

it was pretty lame but my grand kids love it
ouch!! was a pain and a half to put together, and you have to choose 1 star map out of 3. it was pretty lame but my grand kids love it! best one I found was something called /your sky. easy to set up and you can change the view with no prob at all

Don't waste your money on this.
Very disappointed. It's not at all what it looks like in the seller's picture. Very bad quality and I did not receive the correct parts (multiples of 1 gear and none of the other, so the rotation aspect was impossible). Horribly translated, confusing directions. Gave up on it honestly, don't waste your money on this!

Waste of $ - projection is too short!
Good maybe for a small closet! Ok, so this product had lots of bad reviews, but still I thought it might work for our daughterโs Girl Scout Astro-display that the wife commissioned me to build. A 10x10 folding canopy walled in with black tarps and a drop-ceiling tarp with a star projector in the center, a little elevated perhaps - Iโd play that part by ear (eye) upon setup. Four girls would lay on sleeping bags along the walls with a campfire mock-up sharing the center spot with our nifty projector. That was the master design. Should work nice, right?! WRONG! I read ALL the bad reviews and came up with a plan to overcome each problem. I thought... In brief putting it together was complicated but I got through it with patience an precision and using weatherstripping adhesive tape - - the star lights were too diffused (fuzzy) to be distinguishable as stars at all - the bulb cannot be changed out for a brighter bulb - I tried putting the dome over a light base of my own, but the star lights came out even more diffused, looking like a soft light glow in the enclosure - the only way to get the stars to shine as stars was to hold the projector a foot from the surface to be illuminated! - so... inside a 1 foot square box, itโd look great Iโm sure! โ> TOTAL WASTE OF $$

DIY badly
I wanted to like it, I really did. I love the stars and Astronomy. But, when the instructions came in Chinese (literally) with hard to follow English translations (I know what that sounds like, believe me, but I also speak a 2nd language, so I'm not just being ignorant), it made it pretty rough to try to put together. Not to mention that when it came time for the electrical parts, it didn't appear that I even had the same parts that were in the instructions. I'm really disappointed. I tried to put this together for an hour. Then the wiring separated from one of the metal battery ends and is now useless. I'm about to give up.

I had fun struggling to build this
I had fun struggling to build this, but ultimately the finished product looks like garbage and doesn't project very far. Looks kind of cool if you put it right up against a wall in a room with absolutely no light. Not worth the price at all.
