Dorman 924-741 Parking Brake Lever Kit Compatible with Select Ford / Lincoln Models

Not usually a fan of aftermarket brake kits, but this seemed to fit the bill nicely. Seems this is a universal kit for more than one car, had extra pieces that were not used for my truck in the kit. The parts fit perfectly in my 08 F150. As another reviewer noted, one pair of pivots is more snug than the other. Not a problem to me, just ensure you put some grease on the pivot, that will act as glue to keep the parts together long enough to install in the backing plate. Not a lot to say, other than its about 1/3 or so the price of the ford part, as it has both sides in the kit! Time will tell to see how long they last, but I suspect they will be fine. No complaints. A lot easier to use this kit than to try and separate and clean the original ones that were frozen in place by rust. At least for my truck, this was a perfect fitting and operating part. Used this on my 2003 Ford Explorer Sport. My old ones were so wore out that it wouldn’t apply enough pressure on my e brakes to hold. It’s stick shift so brake gets used hard and 150k miles now. The L and R don’t match up for the sport correctly but you can orient it the right way and it fits perfectly. Saved me headache, money, and time.

Parts work fine, and everything you need is in the kit. There are no instructions and there are extra parts so it was difficult to get figured out. In my case I didn't have the original to look at either.

Contrary to what Amazon’s vehicle fit checker says, this kit fit my 2011 F150 and works great.

Works on multiple vehicles. Know the orientation of the parts for YOUR vehicle. Can't go strictly by what's marked L or R.
