Easy replacement on Benq W1070 projector
Works perfectly in my Benq W1070 projector. I was considering buying the Benq OEM part, but it was 2.5X the cost. This one was much more reasonably priced, and it had good reviews, so I gave it a try. Picture and brightness look great. Time will tell if it lasts. My original bulb lasted for 4800-hours (according to the info on the settings menu of the projector). If for some reason this one breaks after a short amount of time, I will update my review. Installation was quite easy. Remove a screw, lift off the panel, remove another screw, remove the bulb. I watched a YouTube video first on the installation process. The whole installation process took me maybe 10-minutes. My original bulb had exploded inside the projector, so I used a shop-vac to quickly vacuum out all the glass particles. Not a big deal, but wasn't expecting to see the old bulb in pieces when removing it!

3 months only
Bought it February 25, now is May 25 and bulb exploded. The initial set up was easy and the bulb was bright. Only 3 months of using it and is gone. Very light used. Once or twice a week.

Not bad, for the price.
For the cost of this lamp, I can't complain. I've had it in the projector for 3 weeks, with around 60 hours on it. No problems yet. I'm not sure if it's as bright as an OEM lamp, but it's pretty close. The only thing I find unusual, is I get more light bleed from the front vent that I don't remember from the other lamps. Not sure if it has a shield missing or what. Just a little weird. I'll update this review as we get though more of it's life.

Genuine Osram lamp in a quality housing at a very competitive price.
This fully assembled lamp module cost less than bare Osram bulbs from other suppliers. Araca provides a quality fully-assembled lamp module, comprehensive written instructions, an extended warranty card, and even a white cotton glove to facilitate a fingerprint-free installation. My good old BenQ W1070 projector is back to its full brightness. I would recommend this lamp module to anyone with a 1070 or 1080 series BenQ projector.

easy install! long term in question
Ive been thinking about upgrading my projector because... lets be honest, mine is a 'Im moving and too much of a hassle to take with me gift' that I received 8 years ago that my friend already had for at least 6... I got both the projector and the screen, and I'm sooo thankful for it. I'm easily able to notice when the bulb is starting to go, and when it does, I always wonder if I should just upgrade. The price, and size, of projectors are coming down. However I really love this projector, and the ease of replacing the bulb is about 30 minutes (AT MAX) As like any non-OEM it doesn't last any where near as long as the original but you gotta balance what you're willing to pay to keep, with what you're willing to upgrade with. All in all, Ill probably buy one more before my upgrade!

Worked great But didn’t last long
Worked great, but only last 2 months before it burned out during middle of a movie. Won’t buy again.

Reduced picture quality
I ordered this bulb to replace the bulb on my projector. The factory bulb was still working, the machine was showing caution light that the bulb had reached maximum recommended. The bulb was extremely easy to change, however the picture quality from the new bulb isn't as good as the original. I'm still using the replacement bulb but contemplating purchasing a new factory bulb. Update: Bulb has stopped working March 23 2020, less than 4 months after installation.
