Solo Plus Digital Cordless Phone with Answering Machine and Call Blocker (White), 1 Handset (SoloCB-W)

I love this amazing phone, it has really cool ring tones and is very sleek. The size is hust perfect and I really like the reteo look to it. The phine has call blocking, caller id and voicemail. The back lighrs on it are also really cool for when you get calls after dark and just adds a nice modern but retro touch. Only thing I was disappointed with was that it said in the box that it came with a user manual and it actually did not. Also I tried goimg onto the website on the bix, didn't exist but I typed in make and model of phone on Google and found a free user guide. Not a major deal just frustrating since it stated it came with one.

I bought this phone specifically for the speaker/intercom feature. I must have that in any phone. I also like the ergonomic shape and modern appearance. The ring is pleasant but not very loud and the caller ID does not show the actual phone NUMBER that is calling, just the name so if you want to call someone back your out of luck. Those are two things I don't like. It comes with a good battery that lasts a long time off of the base. Just be sure and charge it fully upon receipt.

Love the look of these phones, they hold charge good and have pretty good sound. The only thing I don't like is they say the buttons are backlit. They are lit but not lit so that you can see the numbers or letters, it's just a blue lighting around the buttons. Oh well I just won't use them too much in the dark lol.

It has a cool retro design the design is simply fantastic but I don't understand why the sound quality is so bad I hope they improve the sound remember it is a phone not a toy also I had to pay $13.75 to returned.

Love the style of this phone - that is the main reason I purchased it. However, the ring tones are limited and sound a little too shrill. Was hoping for something more subtle, or at lease the option for that. Screen is bright and clear, but still a little hard to read. This last part is more of a me issue that that of the phone, but perhaps worth noting if you have reached that point in your life when reading glasses have become more commonplace. The style of the phone was its selling point. I was tired of all the other phones looking exactly the same and wanted something different. Functionally it is sound too. I was just hoping for more options with ring tones.

Really modern looking and works great but the volume is low even at high!

So I bought this phone because it looked great and was reasonably priced. I did not take into account how annoying it would be. For starters, the actual ring noise is very shrill and unpleasant. I'm not sure why they chose that sound, but it's harsh and unsettling, and freaks out my cat every time it rings. The "backlighting" doesn't backlight the keys so you can see them in the dark, it simply outlines where the keys are, which is useless. Finally I've had this phone for months and I still can't figure out how to use it. Every cordless phone I've ever owned has been super easy to figure out, and has an appropriate ring. This does not. I was taken in by the phone's appearance and price, and wrongly assumed it would be simple to use. I would not have purchased this phone had I been aware of its glaring shortcomings, and I'm only writing this so you don't have to experience what I have. Good luck on your phone search!

We hardly use our landline but need to keep it because of our security system. We needed a replacement for our 10-year-old wireless phones and an answering machine also. These were working the moment they were plugged in even though they didn't have a full charge. And on top of it all, they look amazing, very modern and slick and the price is unbelievable!
