Since I grew my beard, I’ve been unable to find a brush that can effectively penetrate the beard, allowing me to brush it effectively. After trying out a multitude of brushes of all types, wooden, plastic, stainless steel, even including boar hair brushes, I remained unable to find one that suited my needs. My beard is pretty difficult to brush. So I did more research and identified the Zilberhaar product range as potentially one that could offer me a suitable beard brush. Despite the premium price, I decided to buy the Zilberhaar Long Brush with Stiff Bristles. And I am glad I did - it’s a very well-made brush with stiff first cut boar bristles that are able to penetrate my beard hairs, allowing me to brush my beard effectively - which helps keep the beard in great condition by releasing natural oils into the beard. The brush has a lifetime warranty so there’s no fear of it ever letting me down. I now brush my beard twice a day, and it’s looking better than ever. It doesn’t itch, it’s more manageable and it’s considerably easier to style, although I still have to use very strong beard wax to tame it! All in all, I am delighted with this premium product and give it an easy two thumbs up! I’ll be buying the Zilberhaar Major Brush as soon as I can afford it. These may seem pricey but they are high-quality brushes for life, and will last me the rest of mine.

I have long hair and am female and this is great for distributing my natural scalp oil down the length of my hair. Because of the slim design it's easier to work with than a large paddle or oval shaped boar bristle brush. Excellent quality. Highly recommend.

This is a bit of a brute, very stiff, coarse bristles. So unless you have very thick and coarse beard growth, I’d recommend getting something that’s a bit softer. This pulls out quite a lot of hair for me, even with gentle use. I actually have decided to use it to groom our Siberian Forest cat, it’s excellent for that ! Cat loves it !

Bought this brush as a replacement for one whose bristles were too weak, and this one is perfect! String bristles really pull through the hair and reached the skin beneath - really important to ensure oils and balms reach every bit of the hairs and exfoliate the skin as well. Boar bristle means it holds oils and its strong enough to pull through my beard which is medium but thick and coarse. Wouldn’t use another brush now.

This is a high quality brush that has exceeded my expectations. Perfect for longer beards as well as short. Having had a beard for many years i have purchased many brushes. This is by far the best. Your skin will stop feeling irritated and your long beard is easy to tame. Rub some of your favourite beard oil on the handle to bring out the wood grain.

I know this is technically a men's product, but I purchased it for myself (woman) because I have long hair, and wanted to invest in a high-quality boar bristle brush. Very happy with it. Highly recommend!

Nice premium quality brush, great for long or short hair. Mine is the firm bristle version and I would actually prefer it if it was firmer.

Habe mir die Bürste für mein langes dichtes Kopfhaar gekauft. Ausschlaggebend war der "steife Erstschnitt" der Naturborsten, da andere Bürsten mit Naturborsten viel zu weich sind. Mit dieser Bürste komme ich komplett durch das ganze Haar. Die Größe des Bürstenkopfes ist perfekt und der Griff angenehm Lang. Das optisch sehr schöne Holz liegt schön weich in der Hand. Insgesamt sehr wertiger Eindruck!
