It literally got rid of a genuine infestation of bees
This works fantastic, genuinely can not recommend it enough. I only moved into my house this past fall so I had no idea how bad the bug problem was. So much to my horror the second it started warming up I was met with a genuine carpenter bee infestation. I think they were nesting in the roof of my car port or my garage. I couldn't step into my backyard without having at least one chasing me around. And just trying to walk to my car I had roughly six to eight of them literally buzzing around my head. It made mowing the yard difficult. It made bringing in groceries impossible. They were constantly harassing my dog. I had tried some other traps and sprays but they were barely working at all. The infestation was so bad I had sneak out in the middle of the night to even put the trap up. I put this up and I have not dealt with them since. Absolutely zero bees. It's a miracle. I was a little worried because it rained the morning after I put it up and I was concerned that the rain would ruin the stickiness but it didn't effect it at all. And it started catching bees almost immediately too. I was at my wits end and genuinely had very little hope that this would actually work and was dreading having to spend the money on an exterminator. Highly recommend it if you're struggling with the same problem.

Highly effective
I've purchased this product multiple times already because it works well. The only catch is you need to place it in a high traffic area for it to be effective which may require some experimentation. It appears that wasps will not go out of their way to land on this trip but will if it's crossing their path. I recently replaced mines from last summer and within a week, it caught 4 paper wasps that were trying to build a nest. Once wasps touch this stuff, they are not getting out. It may not catch them all, but 4 wasps caught is 4 less wasps that I have to deal with. Highly recommend this product.

Easy, Effective, and Low-Maintenance Wasp Control
I’ve tried a lot of different wasp control solutions over the years, and the RESCUE! VisiLure TrapStik is one of the easiest and most effective options I’ve used so far. Setup was super simple. No liquids, no mixing, no mess. I just hung it up near our patio where we were seeing a lot of wasp activity, and within a day it was already catching them. Over the next several days, it filled up faster than I expected and noticeably reduced the number of wasps and other annoying insects flying around, which made a big difference for our outdoor space. I also like that it’s a “set it and forget it” type of product. There’s no spraying chemicals or constantly maintaining it, which is great with kids around. The stickiness holds up fine in the heat and rain too, which was something I was a little concerned about. Pros: - Very easy to set up (no mess or liquids) - Starts working quickly - Low maintenance once it’s up - Noticeably reduces wasp activity - No sprays or direct chemical application Cons: - It does fill up, so you’ll eventually need to replace it - You have to be careful where you hang it (not too close to where people hang out) - It’s not exactly pleasant to look at once it starts catching a lot Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you’re dealing with wasps and want something simple and effective without a lot of hassle, this is definitely worth trying.

Wasps are smarter than you would think.
It is a good product, but the wasps must be smarter than to get close to the sticky stuff as it is mostly flies that get stuck!

Finally Cut Down Wasps—Just Don’t Expect Pretty
It works, but not as magically or cleanly as the packaging suggests. This is best for someone dealing with recurring wasps or carpenter bees around decks or eaves, not someone expecting a set-it-and-forget-it invisible fix. I used these around a backyard patio where mud daubers kept nesting, and within a couple days they definitely attracted and trapped insects—but placement matters more than advertised. Too close to where you sit, and you’ll notice increased activity before it drops. The upside is it’s chemical-free and genuinely reduces the population over time; the downside is it’s ugly once it starts filling up, and you will catch non-target bugs occasionally despite the claims. Compared to sprays, it’s safer and longer-lasting, but slower and less satisfying if you want instant results. I expected a passive solution; reality is it requires some trial-and-error positioning. Verdict: yes, but only if you’re patient and okay trading aesthetics for effectiveness.

This item works
This item works remarkably well. I have had carpenter bees every Spring, for years, on my deck. I have used these and they really do attract and trap them. Admittedly, they are not very attractive, hanging, but I carefully remove them if I entertain and then, put them back. If one bee gets nosey and sticks, THAT seems to attract others. It takes a couple of weeks, but an inexpensive and effective tool.

Not effective for carpenter bees
I hung several of these traps near high traffic for carpenter bees. They caught many insects, but none of the carpenter bees. The carpenter bees have done a lot of damage, so I’ve filled every hole that I’ve found.

So simple yet so effective
We had a terrible wasp problem in our backyard. And they would all hang out by the door. It made going outside almost unbearable because there were so many. I searched for a long time on something to get, but everything had mixed reviews. I needed something that would work. Out of desperation, I finally decided on this one and hoped for the best. After all, it is just a sticky trap. Seemed fairly simple. I received it and very easily assembled it and hung it outside. I thought for sure it would get maybe one or two. I went out early the next morning and there were already dozens of dead wasps. This was only after half a day. Ever since then I have ordered a two pack every year. I have told my friends with wasp problems about this and they went out and bought it and were impressed. I always have one out during the spring and summer months, so it takes direct sunlight and extreme heat and severe storms yet it still remains sticky and works.

Great product
These things are the best wasp catcher on the market, hands down. I had a nest of about 4,000 yellow jackets in the wall of my house. I risked getting stung and tried about $150 worth of wasp killer spray which maybe killed about 50 or so wasps. The problem was that the entrance to the nest was about 15 feet high and the nest was in the wall about 10 feet from the entrance hole, so, impossible to get at the nest and I was very worried about them getting inside my house. I purchased 2 of these traps, attached them to a telescoping pole from my roof snow rake and simply leaned them against the outside of my house over the entrance hole that the wasps were coming in and out of. The wasps were drawn to the colors and within 2 days, the traps were full. It took 4 more traps but within a week, no more wasps. I'll never spend money on spray again. And these work on other insects too, such as lady bugs, box elders, etc.. I'm thoroughly impressed.

Shocker. It actually worked!
I was about to ship it back today with a zero star review. Useless for weeks. This afternoon I was chased off my balcony by three hysterical wasps. Came out just now to see this. Now, five stars.
