Sturdy and functional
Great alternative to crutches - your hands are free to make tea and cook and I couldn’t have managed without it. This model is sturdy and good on smooth floors and carpets. Not good on stony ground. I recommend also purchasing a cushion for your knee as the saddle is very hard.

Solid, reliable, comfortable and now indispensable
Absolutely fantastic product. Well designed, solid, comfortable, almost ready to use straight out of the box. Have being using crutches for the last few months, and they are hard work especially over long distances. This scooter requires much less effort, allows travel over longer distances and with reduced chance of falling. Travels easily over gravel, grass and bumpy tarmac. Folds down easily to fit into the back of a car. I would recommend this to anyone with foot, ankle or leg problems

To high if you are smaller than 5”6
This scooter is well made and feels very good quality. However, it’s quite large for indoor use. I’m 5ft 4in and even on the lowest settings, both the seat and handlebars are still too high for me. I’d say you’d need to be around 5ft 6in or taller to feel comfortable. It’s also worth noting that the tyres need pumping up before first use. The seat is fairly firm as well, so I would recommend purchasing an additional seat cushion for extra comfort. Unfortunately, due to the height, I’ve had to return it as it just wasn’t suitable for me.

Sturdy and much easier than crutches
A week of using crutches into 6 weeks of non weight bearing due to an open fibula fracture and I was fed up so thought this would be easier. It’s been life changing so far. I can now use my hands to carry things in and I can get around the house much faster. It’s very sturdy and dead easy to build. I went to hospital for my stitches removal on it and everyone I met asked me where I had bought it from. Worth every penny.

Much better than crutches!
Immediately felt a sense of relief once I assembled this product and was able to move around the house freely. It is heavy, sturdy and does not have a great turning circle but it is MUCH easier to use than crutches or a walker and allows me to cook, wash-up and many more tasks. The cross channel on the seat is an important feature because it means I can have the the scooter parallel to a work top and kneel on it when I am working in the kitchen or have it parallel to the sofa and use the scooter as a footstool to elevate my leg. On the second day I had it I was able to go outside to to the postbox ten minutes walk away and post my vote. This scooter needs a bit of care to use in tight spaces in the house or uneven pavements but I am so glad I got it! The only slight glitch was it took me a few minutes to realise that, in order to use the "handbrake" function on my example, both brakes had to be applied simultaneously.

Run forrest run
The scooter is pretty good and pretty easy to put together. The knee seat feels like a brink. If you have a full boot on the long ones then you're going to have problems the top of the boot near your knee does not fit right making it uncomfortable to use and it pushing the toe part of the boot up so be careful if you just had surgery. The scooter seems to work ok but not great maybe it's not right hight for me and I need to change it. The problem I found is that the wheels are hard and could cause problems if you go over a bump. The scooter in away does what it says but it's also does not say the negative things that may cause people to feel more pain. I don't think many people with leg or ankle injury with be able to feel comfortable on a knee seat seat and that could cause a problem. There is a away to fix it but I have not tried to see if it any better but that is to buy a memory foam seat cover.

Great purchase after foot surgery.
I had foot surgery and this knee scooter is an ideal mobility aid especially as I have arthritis in my wrists and couldn’t have managed with crutches or sticks alone. Very pleased with the quality although you really need the sheepskin knee pad to go with it.

I’m so confused
I read all the great reviews before I bought this scooter and I am so confused. It’s like I have bought a completely different thing?? I can see that it would be very good for in the house but the minute you get outside it’s a death trap. The first time I used it I went along a pavement that very slightly sloped to one side, I lost my balance and over I went cutting and badly bruising my knee (on the same leg I have a broken ankle!) Today (6 days after the incident) I thought I would give it another try and again just don’t understand how people are using this? It is so unsteady, the minute you go over a bump it is completely off balance and it really takes a lot of effort with your good leg to scoot. You also can’t get very far as the front wheels are in the way of your good leg?? If I could return it I would. Sadly I’ve used it so I can’t.

100% Satisfied with this item.
I absolutely love this piece of equipment. Its solid and dependable and does exactly what I expected from it. I'm supposed to stay off my leg and this Knee Scooter takes all the worry out of my mind when I need to leave the house. It also stands in for a leg prop when im sitting and need to elevate my leg. If I'm waiting in line in a public place it also stands in for a chair to sit on until the line moves so your not standing on one leg for long periods of time. The bag is a super plus because it easily attaches to the from of the scooter and lifts right off. it can be used as a cross body bag since it has a long strap. I love the solid feel and quality of this Scooter...

Glad to have found this model! Great for plus sized users.
Very sturdy. I had a no load bearing injury and used this at max weight capacity+ for 3 months straight and it held up very well. Easy to assemble and fold for transport. The bag was also very useful. Was mostly used over concrete and carpet and was able to move with ease. I lost some of the hubcaps and valve stem covers, but those were mostly just for asthetics so no big deal. Towards the end of use i did find myself filling the tires maybe once every 2 weeks, but remember, i was using it at capacity. The price made it worthwhile since i would have paid the same for a rental. Im 5’8” and felt it may have been a little high at first, but I had gotten used to it. I do wish that maybe the seat angle could have been adjustable instead of fixed. I also bought the gel cushion, but it made it more slippery and uncomfortable for me.

Great Knee Scooter to get around for non weightbearing foot injury or after surgery.
A great little knee Scooter for a person with a non-weightbearing leg injury or surgery. I really like it! I would be lost without it. I use it every day to get out of bed, to the bathroom and maneuver around the house a little. It is harder to use on thicker carpeted floors, but easy on wood or bath, kitchen floors. It does not take wide turns, you have to maneuver it back & forth to get through some doorways and tighter spaces in the house. I haven't been able to use it Outdoors yet due to my Surgery limitations, but I'm sure it will be no problem. It comes with a nice Bag to carry any of your personal stuff, that attaches on front, which is removable to carry with you. I am actually looking forward to using this knee Scooter when able to go outside for extended periods and to my P/T. Yes, I would highly recommend it. Ty! Mrs. S. :)

Good and sturdy scooter
I underestimated how hard it is to not put a foot on the ground for 4-6 weeks! This scooter has made some of the everyday things that I need to do much easier. I want to give this knee scooter 5 stars because I do believe that it is better than average. The big air-inflated tires make it feel safe when rolling over uneven terrain, and the hand brakes work really well. I use the brake locking mechanism a lot. If I need to be up in the kitchen, etc., you can lock the brake and have a sturdy “leaning post” under you while you cook, etc. Having the brakes locked also keep the scooter from moving away from you when you are getting out of a chair, etc. My reason for 4 stars instead of five: The seat is extremely hard and is uncomfortable on your leg when you have your full weight on it for more than a few minutes. I would not be able to use the scooter without the extra memory foam pad that I bought for it. I also wish that the seat would go lower. I am 5’6” and with the seat in the lowest setting, my “pushing foot” is on its tip-toes to reach the floor if I want to stand straight up. To push the scooter with a flat foot, I end up having to lean in a position that puts some pressure on my hip, and by the end of the day, my lower back is sore if I have had to be up and around a lot. The last reason is minor but the bag on the front of the scooter is cheap, at best. It won’t open wide enough to put my small purse in. I ended up taking it off and getting a basket for the front.

Prepare to be slow and steady, but a great economical purchase.
I just had reconstructive foot surgery Thursday. This knee scooter is an absolute life saver!!! I can quickly get to the bathroom, to my easy chair, to the kitchen..... all while complying with my surgeons orders to be completely non wight bearing! It easily fits in my little car, so when I'm ready to drive again, I'll be able to take it with me. Update after 4 weeks of use: The levers that allow the scooter to be folded and placed in the trunk require tightening every week or so. The knee pad squeaks, as do the handlebars. Minor irritation for me, but drives my Mom nuts. I am at the top of the recommended weight limit for this scooter and I have fallen twice due to "over-correcting" with the front/steering.(I am now MUCH more careful turning and slowing for concrete "gaps/cracks/joints") The little bag on the front is already missing its top carry strap. (Apparently a 32 oz stainless steel water bottle and a large tablet plus meds become too heavy LOL) **I am still thrilled with this economical, light weight scooter. If you are over 300 pounds, I'd recommend a heavy duty one just because of stability, turning and brake reliability. Be aware that you MUST take corners, uneven pavement, and gaps in cement/blacktop SLOWLY.**
