I purchased this Fotasy Canon EF to Sony E-mount adapter in 2021 and it’s still working well. I’ve used it with my Sony a6100 and Sony a7III, and the fit has been solid on both the camera and lens. There’s no wobble or looseness, which is important when adapting heavier lenses like mi 70mm to 300mm. Build quality feels sturdy and the metal mount holds up well over time. Since it’s a fully manual adapter, there are no electronic contacts, so focus and exposure have to be adjusted manually. That’s expected for this type of adapter, and it works fine if you’re comfortable shooting manually and have present that Speed of autofocus will not work. very light Weight. Even though it is not an auto focusing model, the price (1/10 the cost of most AF EF-E mount adapters) is great and it fits without wiggling or feeling less than sturdy. Exactly what I expected, I recommend it if you don’t need or want to use auto focusing on your E mount camera with your Canon EF lenses.

The Fotasy is built exactly the same as the Fotoiox. All finishes, grooves and levers are exactly the same and in same placement. However, for some reason the Fotasy did not click securely in place with the lens. The quality of materials and image produce were exactly the same. However, the Fotasy did not secure the lens completely so that it did not twist off the adapter. Maybe it was a faulty item. I have Fotasy adapter for screw mount lens to Sony E-mount, and it works fine.

Decent product it’s a bit tight when connecting my EF lens to the adapter. But the adapter to my Sony E mount works well and goes on smoothly I only have one EF lens so it’s not that big of a problem for me considering this adapter will probably stay on the lens.

UM -100000 stars I had to DRILL MY $500 lens just to get this off on top of it not even working??? I got this for my Sony a7ii to be an adapter for my tamron lens that fits my canon I put it on use it on the Sony and you can seee the adapter in the photos I’m taking ???? Then come to find out I can’t get it off AT ALL I tried everything trust me . Then without barley twisting the lever to release it broke not that it was even doing anything bc clearly it diddnt fit or was jammed just terrible quality. My LAST resort was to drilllllll it off my experience lens knowing it’s a risk but I had my mind set I did drill into my original lens but not to where it wouldn’t work or go back on . It lucky snapped back on and works even tho I drilled some of it off to get this terrible adapter off , lesson learned im just gonna buy the lens that fits my camera never ever an adapter again . I put the lens on before I could snap a photo of the horrible damage to my lens and I’m too scared to take it back off for a photo but I did get one of the after math .

I took a chance and purchased this lens adapter for the Sony A7Rii. I was a little puzzled as to how to remove the adapter. The instructions were simple and I was quickly up and running. The adapter is made from sturdy material. It fits perfectly (stayed secured and intact). Keep in mind that there is no electrical contact in the ring. What this means is that the aperture, focus, etc. is all manual. This is perfect for my manual lenses (e.g., Rokinon, Zeiss); however Canon L lenses won't work. No electronic communication between the ring adapter. I'm happy with the purchase and purchase and price-point. Would recommend for manual lens only.

After finally deciding to buy a camera, I didn't have a lot of extra cash to spend on accessories. With this mount adapter, I only had to spend a few dollars to be able to use a few lenses that my friend had for their canon camera. This is absolutely worth the cost, especially when other near-identical products cost many times more.

I wasn't hesitant to buy after seeing some of the reviews but figured its worth 12 bucks to see for myself. I bought it for my 14mm Rokinon Canon lens to go with my new Sony Alpha A7III. The lens has manual focus and manual aperture, both work perfectly. The picture quality on the Sony with the adapter is just as good as it was with my Canon. It also seems well built and was easy to take on and off, but I suppose time will put its reliability to the test.

I'm 💯 Satisfied

Though this is just an adaptor without any electronics, it does fit well between my Sony cameras (A7iii and A7C) and canon L lenses that i own. You have to adjust focus manually, ideal for either fixed object video, or simple photo shoot where you have to achieve focus manually.

Adaptor does exactly what it claims to do. I use it with my Sony a7r and Canon ef 24-105 f/4L.

Does the job well

Used it once, works but now is stuck on the lens and can't get it out! I would not recommend it. I don't know if there is a customer support for this but can't find it.
