GenTent Open Frame Running Cover - Universal Adapter Kit Generator Tent (Beige, Original - Plus)

Fits my generator perfectly. Easy to assemble and seems to be pretty sturdy. Never thought I'd be wanting to lose power to see how this operates in the elements but I am. Really like the quality of the fabric and the stitching. Should last awhile.

I ordered this GenTent in lieu of putting up a shed in my yard to house our Duromax 12000EH generator. Within an hour or so of placing my order I was contacted by the service department to verify the make/model of my generator to insure the proper fit. I was impressed immediately. After my response, I received detailed installation instructions for proper install on my generator. I received my new GenTent the next day, followed instructions properly and after installation I could not be happier with this purchase. The GenTent fits perfectly, as advertised, and I couldn't be happier. I now have the confidence that if and when I need to put this generator to work, it will be properly protected in any and all weather elements that Michigan can throw at it. It appears to be completely water resistant, lightweight and very well made. It is easy to pop on and off in a matter of minutes so when the time comes I'm good to go quickly and efficiently. This GenTent cover is solid, sturdy and provides all the protection any generator shed I could have put up in my yard. This GenTent along with our new Duromax generator will give us peace of mind for the future if the need ever arises.

Doesnt work with a Duromax XP13000XHT. The fit is all wrong because of the plate welded to the frame for the battery cover, it prevents the clamps from fixing at one of the corners. Very dissapointed. Edit: GenTent website has an in-depth explanation, while offset because of the blocked panel it will still fit.

This is the only genny cover I have purchased so I cannot compare. That said I installed it the day it arrived, video help was amazing, written instructions, awesome. It was a little tricky, read the instructions twice! The day I put it out it snowed, go figure, but just a flurry. I ran the generator for about 5 hours under the tent, no problems! Easy access to the control panel and gas tank. A little pricey but well worth it. I installed it on a brand new generac portable 8000. Thanks for reading.

What a great idea from the good folks at GenTent! This little tentbwill keep my Firman dry and safe during the rain and snow of the unforgiving Canadian climate. The setup was simple and the product is high quality. My only suggestion would be to include the clear flap standard instead of at an extra cost.

Installation was easy and seems to fit well. Haven’t been able to test in real world conditions but it looks like it will protect against rain and snow.

My generator is very well protected ...We love it ... fits perfectly on our 12500 watts Champion generator. Thank you everyone who invented it ,and plus it looks good !

Don’t waste your hard earned money cheaply made plastic brackets broke with first use do not recommend not worth the amount of money paid for
