I originally received one as a gift when my dog died in 2007. Reading it gave me comfort and hope and helped make me even smile a bit. The art work is beautiful. Losing my dog, Munchie, hit me harder than I ever could have imagined it would have. The book is probably a 3 minute read and was a real emotional support. I still read it once in a while and have purchased at least 7 books since 2007 for friends who have lost a pet(it is published for people who have lost cats,too).
