Is this a legit bussmann item or an off-brand (thus qsu) ?

The fuse is manufactured by Bussmann.

Can this be used with an 87v dmm? if so, would this protect my meter in an overload even though it's not an 11ar but an 11a ?

I’m not familiar with this specific meter, I would recommend following the manufactures specifications.

Original fuse for my Fluke DMM

DMM-11A is the exact fuse model for my Fluke 111. This is the direct replacement for Fluke DMMs with current settings. There is a DMM-B-11A fuse model which is supposed to have different metals that's better for the environment, but I dunno how it's performance matches the original DMM-11A fuse.

I was pleased to see they arrived in a timely manner in damaged and they just work and fit my digital multimeter, nothing more frustrating than testing for a battery draw and accidentally popping one of these fuses and not having a replacement, I appreciate the option to buy in a 10 pack so I can keep spares in my toolbox for future accidents
