I love my Note4 and didn't want to trade it in for a new phone but my battery life was dismal. Every time I tried to take a photo, my phone shut down. In the past I've purchased the smaller batteries, but they don't hold a charge for long..this higher volt battery is a workhorse. Yes, it requires a different back to accommodate the extra thickness, but the back fits well. I can actually get a better grip on my phone since it is a little thicker.
