Works exactly how you'd want it to work - the auto mode switches pretty efficiently without too much of a wait time, and manual mode via the remote works great too. Plug-and-play, very simple to set up and get going. You could even forego the remote entirely if you have no interest in messing around with batteries or manual switching. One thing I appreciate about this device in particular is that it doesn't have a constant light. My last one was a 2 HDMI one by a different brand and it only stopped having an extremely bright green light after an hour of everything being powered down, and even covering the light didn't stop it shining everywhere because it would shine out around every HDMI cable too. This one doesn't seem to shine any kind of light during use, which is very much appreciated in a movie theatre setup that's intended to be dark. Extremely happy that I upgraded to this one. Would highly recommend it to anyone who lacks HDMI ports and needs to add a couple to an existing setup.

After one of the HDMI ports on our tv gave up the ghost I ordered a 2-way splitter to switch between the tv and our Roku box. Then I realized if I had a three-way splitter I could have access to my DVD player and wouldn't have to be switching HDMI cables in order to watch, so I ordered one of those. The first 3-way I ordered worked great but did not have a remote control. Not a problem as long as you are able to get up and walk over to the box and press a button. Now, however, I'm scheduled to have knee replacement surgery and hobbling over to the tv to change the input to the tv is not something I want to be doing (for a while, at least). I ordered this switch to take care of that problem and it works like a charm. Took less than a minute to change over from the old splitter and I did not need to use the power cord; the box must get enough power from the tv for the remote control to work. At first I didn't think it was working correctly as nothing happened when I chose the connection for the DVD player. I didn't realize that the DVD player needed to be powered on for the splitter to go to that option. Once I turned the DVD player on it went right to it. I failed to consider that the Roku box is always on which is why that always comes on right away. As long as you turn on your DVD player before you press the button you've assigned to it, it will work. Great little gadget. I would recommend.

I had this for two months, connected to my PS5 and Switch 2. It worked as advertised in the beginning. However, I haven't played any games since I bought this so I never really had chance to use it, but it started making a high pitch noise and would not power on after two months. Edit: I am updating my review to reflect seller's superb customer service with this product. They have shown they have pride in their product. I would buy their brand again without hesitation.

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT! A MUST for SOUNDBARS and TVs built with limited # of HDMIs. This is not a SPLITTER but more a SWITCHER for the HDMI. Has limited auto switch based on detection of SWITCH ON new devices. This is because many devices(DVD, streaming, ect.) remain on/sustain voltage even when not in use. The units remote is very limited in range but gets it done! My unit did NOT include the advertised Short HDMI CORD. While this is problematic, I STILL HIGHLY RATED THIS PRODUCT because of great picture quality and great functionality for a VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE! Ps, this is a PASS-THROUGH DEVICE and allows the ARC OUTPUT of my TV to pass DOLBY ATMOS to my soundbar....even without having a E-ARC feature on the TV. OUTSTANDING !

*UPDATE* This product has damaged my Graphics card and a monitor. I had to dispose of a $250 1080p monitor and now I am having to send my $600 GPU to the manufacturer to get it repaired. Customer service has been garbage since I let them know how much damage has been caused by using their products. All they keep saying is they are looking into it. Stay away from this product. Works great when it works, but has potential to cause major hardware damage. But a different product. I don't write many reviews, but this one needs to be written. Bought 2 of these several months apart, most recently at the end of October (it is early January, so barely over 2 months of use). Neither are working. Worked fine for a bit, but I will not be buying anymore of these, they are a waste of money. These are not complex devices, they should be able to last at least a year, but realistically, 2 years. Not just 2 months. Buy another HDMI switch, stay away from this one unless you only need it for like a month.

I am impressed with this box. I was glad to see that it came with all of the required cables, but I was even more impressed that I did not end up needing the power cable! It seems that something in my configuration is powering the box over HDMI. I have it connected to a Toshiba TV, an Apple TV and a gaming PC, so one of these devices must be feeding it power over HDMI as it works without the power cable plugged in. The picture quality is great, just as if I had my devices connected to the TV directly. The only minor fault in the device is that if I have my Apple TV on and switch on my gaming PC, about 45 minutes later when the Apple TV falls asleep the TV turns off as well. I have to turn off my Apple TV, then switch to my gaming PC to prevent this. I guess I was hoping having the box would prevent the shut down signal from the Apple TV from hitting my TV when another device was in use. This is a great cheap HDMI switcher that works perfectly for my needs.

Edit: After having it for about 3 months, it started having an issue where the screen will flicker off and on. So far it's only been on input 1 but every few seconds the video will turn off for a couple seconds and come back on. It happens on demand when I tap the unit so it's definitely this. I blew out the HDMI port that was having the issue and it seems to have helped for now but I'm waiting for it to come back or happen to the other 2 inputs Original: First off, it works as it should and displays 4k60 perfectly fine as far as I can tell. Auto mode works almost flawlessly between having my PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox 360, but it always goes back to the PS5 when it's in sleep mode. I can use the remote to switch manually while it's still in auto, but I have to turn auto off because my kids always put the PS5 to sleep and it always immediately switches back to that input. Kinda defeats the purpose of having an auto mode but it's a PS5 issue, not the switcher's fault. It works perfectly when the PS5 gets turned off all the way so I just gotta get the kids to remember

East to hook up if you have a power source near by. Surprised it knew which electronic was used and switched to the one turned on right away. I've probably used it for ~75+ hrs now no issue. To be clear though that's almost all on one of the ports. I don't switch systems often. Recommend it for gamers who have multiple game systems but only a few ports on the TV.

I only had one 2.0b HDMI on my tv and I wanted to have my devices in HDR. I did buy a more expensive one and I sent it back as the automatic switching was terrible. This isn’t perfect for the auto switching but I use a broad link device that lets me programme any IR device for voice control and saved money. So all I need to say is turn on switch 1 to either Alexa or Google and it will switch. The other ones at a higher price needed to be plugged into the plug socket but this one had a use charger which it can be plugged into the TVs usb to power it. You only need the power if you want 4k 10bit like I do. The remote isn’t that great , so I would buy the broad link as that can control smart plugs, my electric projector screen, anything that uses a remote as it can learn any input. Sky Q is in 4k hdr PS4 is showing 4k hdr Google tv is showing 4k and hdr I just hope it lasts
