Is this the new clear formula?

All of our scents now have the red dye removed. They are not clear per se, but rather beige in color as they take on the color of the bait fish used in each scent. The red dye has been completely removed from all formulas eliminating the old issue with staining of lighter colored baits etc. The new formulas are vastly improved. Thanks

can this be used for trout?

As trout are predators and feed on other fish and crayfish/crawfish, this can be used for them. Check your local fishing regulations as well for seasons where the use of scent/attractant is possibly restricted.

The product is packed in blister packaging or without?

Amazon purchases are not packaged in blister packaging although when sold in retail outlets, this is the standard packaging. Thanks

Will it wash off of your lures? I would hate to take a $25 lure and gunk it up with this.

Liquid Mayhem is designed to stick to the bait for an extended period of time leaving a scent trail in the water cast after cast. It is generally most efficient to use a towel to clean the bait when changing lures. This is quick and eliminates any residual scent on the fishing lure.

I can't say for certain that this product works 100%....but it doesn't hurt. I did catch some pike using this product. But I also caught pike without using it on my other rod after catching fish on the juiced up rod.
