ZYMOX Leave-on Conditioner, 1 Gallon

Amazing!

Since I began using the Furminator shampoo (pina colada scent!) along with Zymox pet rinse and quality grain free foods and treats our dogs smell absolutely yummy with absolutely NO doggie odor ever and absolutely minimal shedding despite having several German Shepherd Dogs known as German Shedders (or German Shredders when destructive LOL) Zymox Rinse contains several enzymes which helps to eat away at at the bad things such as bacteria, virus and fungal infections which in turn helps to cut down on the icky smelly biofilms or that oily somewhat waxy buildup on dogs coats leaving them fresh and clean and super soft. I shampoo once or twice with Furminator shampoo (the blue stuff in the gallon bottle is super highly concentrated - I dilute an ounce into a few ounces of water - enough for several shampoos!) then I rinse and massage in a handful of the Zymox Rinse. I massaging the Zymox rinse thoroughly into the coat at least 5 minutes, periodically rinsing the loose fur off my hands and getting a bit more Zymox for those hard to read under leg areas. After I'm confident the Zymox has been massaged into the skin and fur very well I rinse thoroughly to remove all the loosened fur. While the dog is still very wet I massage in a second round of Zymox Rinse (about a single pump) as a leave in conditioner for lasting effect. The Zymox Rinse jug arrived with the pump included, thankfully, as it's very convenient! If your dog sleeps in bed with you as ours do, the fresh scent and reduced shedding can be a marriage saver! This listing states this is a "Pet Rinse Shampoo" but in reality this is the "Pet Rinse" and NOT shampoo.

I cannot report on long term use of this product but short term use is favorable.

Firstly, if your dog has itchy skin, get a good quality probiotic, fish oil, and try msm powder for inflammation. Those things help. This conditioner alone reduced my dogs itching considerably but in those very itchy days it needed to be applied weekly. It does immediately calm the itch for my dog. I bathe in the Zymox shampoo then apply this liberally when wet and towel dry. I apply a little more after dried with a towel and then blow dry with dog dryer. This is good stuff. I have a Cocker who developed a spring allergy. After using the supplements mentioned and this product she is not scratching anymore

We went to a pet expo and one my lady's got a sample pack of this particular product .Along with their ear cleaner . We use it on some of our very scaly ,irritated, allergy skinned clients dogs at a the grooming salon. The instant relief the dogs have is amazing . We liked it so much, we decide to keep it on hand all the time. Purchasing both shampoo, leave in conditioner and the ear cleaner we are very satisfied with them all and ours clients are too.

It was right next to the optic ear care I NEEDED. Thought it was just a larger container of it. Totally shocked after I opened it and looked inside. Never looked at the label, both were green.

I've tried so many grooming conditioners and this is by far the best. good detangler, smells great, no residue left behind, and big bonus is it is very helpful to alleviate pruritus and dry skin. leaves hair fluffy and poofy. enthusiastically recommended

no dramatic results, dog is still itchy, but its a nice conditioner that leaves her coat shiny and smelling nice.

Great for my show dogs!
