It cleaned very well

AMAZING!!! I used this in my ultrasonic cleaner. I put every piece of silver jewelry I own inside and covered them up with this straight from the bottle. Every piece came out beautifully white shiny silver. I included a picture comparing one earring to the other so you can see what I mean. I actually forgot how beautiful these pieces of jewelry were, because they were all covered in black oxidation and now they look like new! I am so very happy with the results!

Does work fine as a tarnish remover, but other brands are superior with even less of a price. Look around!

I have been using a polishing cloth for years but it’s very difficult to get into crevices. I finally bought an ultrasonic cleaner and purchased this cleaning solution. 3 minutes in the bath, no damage and a beautiful piece of, clean in every spot, jewelry.

Cleans well but very sticky after cleaning items

I thought I would be slick and by the nice fragrance cleaner with four times the quantity. Guess what it didn’t work and I’m going back to this because it works fantastic. You get what you pay for. You will experiance an eggy smell from this product . Deal with it .

I wanted to use my Kendal 9-Quart ultrasonic cleaner to remove tarnish from a wide array of silver items. These include flatware; candlestick holders; casserole lids; napkin holders; and more. I read the directions several times and used their recommended second method of cleaning. This involves putting the solution (undiluted) into a Ziplock bag, putting the item to be cleaned into that, and then putting the entire bag into the ultrasonic tub. I've done this with many other non-silver parts, using other cleaners, and it reduces the amount of solution you need to use while still letting the ultrasonic waves get to the part and clean it just as well as if you'd filled up the entire tub with the solution. The water in the tub presses on the bag and forces the solution in the bag to fill up around the part so that it is fully submerged. I then ran the cleaner, using a slightly elevated temperature of 40 degrees centigrade, for three minutes (the instructions say not to exceed that amount). Bottom line: this stuff barely works, and what's worse, it actually takes the clean parts and deposits spots all over them. This happened on every part, and happened whether I used a brand new bottle, or whether I used solution that had already been used to clean other parts. I tried cleaning over two dozen objects which had varying degrees of tarnish (some hadn't been cleaned for many, many years), and if failed on every single one of them, even those with light tarnish. One of the things I had hoped for is that this would reach into the recesses of the intricate patterns on some of my silver objects. It totally failed to consistently remove tarnish in these recesses. Finally, in order to rescue the silver that I had treated with this tarnish remover (because some of them were covered with a new form of tarnish in the form of black spots and mottling), I had to clean and polish it by hand, using traditional silver polish. I spent a LOT more time doing this than if I'd just started with the polish that I ended up having to use anyway. Don't buy this; it doesn't work.

One word.. WOW. I have an ultrasonic cleaner and have been using dish detergent thus far. After cleanings, I just wanted to throw out all my jewellery and start again. I tried this and O. M. G. Everything came out sparkling! I can't believe it. It's like it's all brand new again. Try it for yourself.. you'll see.

This solution worked perfect for my wife's silver jewelery. The before and after pic shows how well it worked. The jewelery required a quick buff afterwards to bring out the shine.
