Triathlon Wetsuit 3/2mm - Volution Sleeveless Quick John Smoothskin Neoprene for Open Water Swimming

Wore this for a half ironman and kept me warm. Water temperature was 60 degrees (air was 40) and kept me warm. Wore over my tri suit.

A bit tight on a big guy. Maybe it's just me. Looks and feels solid. But in the water felt a bit restrictive. Still 5 stars but didn't fit me. My xl felt Okay from blue seventy. I didn't think i would be a 3x from synergy. I wish they would include measurements. I may still buy in the future because of the quality and feel.

Soft and size matches however worried about how fragile the material is, needs to be handled delicately, not sure how that’s possible in a competitive race and get out without tears.

Size chart is way off.

Update: Ran my first Tri in this over the weekend, and getting out of this suit was a breeze since it doesn't have long legs. This suit was perfect for 60 water, it could likely go even colder. -------------------------------- 5 stars for now, but time will tell. I’m 6 foot 230 with a long torso, and this L2 fits me great. I have used it for one open water swim in prep for the triathlon. My arms got used to the cold, and it was worth not having the extra strain on my arms a full set suit gives. I will update if it lets me down this summer.

Seam came apart after just four swims. I found the wetsuit comfortable to swim in but would not recommend buying until Synergy guarantees the workmanship.

This is my third Synergy purchase. I also own the Volution Sleeveless 3/2 Long John and the Endorphin 5/3 Women's Full Sleeve. For the cost you get excellent quality. I started with the Endorphin and used it to swim in the Puget Sound during winter. As it has gotten warmer I've bought their lighter designs. Amazon will honor their return policy. I suggest buying the size you think you will fit into and you can try it a few times and return or exchange it if it isn't the right fit. I was between two sizes and have done this twice with two of the 3 suits I now own.

Sizing chart is way off. Im 5.7 and 162lbs. I should be M1 on the chart but I went bigger because I heard their chart is off. Even the M2 is too small. I need an M3. Thats 2 sizes bigger than their chart says.
