Wine bars have always been favorite gathering places for old friends, and this Oenophilia Wine Bar will be no different for your kitchen or home bar. This wine and stemware rack features a contemporary design in metal, with a solid metal shelf across the top. This rack holds 8 stems and 6 standard size wine bottles, and the shelf can be used for additional bottles, glassware or decorative items. Mounts on wall. The racks dimensions are 10.5"H x 27.5"W x 9"D and has Gunmetal finish.

Good Quality Item
It's very sturdy and seems of good quality. Not flimsy or made with small diameter iron. With all the glass on this rack it has to be mounted properly. You need someone who knows what their doing to mount it the same as you would a kitchen cabinet so it holds. Theres a lot of weight on it. I love the look and versatility of use. It has a shelf and glass holders that will hold 2 glasses each. I had extra room on my wall and wanted to make good use of it for organizing rather than just another picture. I would order it again. I'm pretty picky so this is saying something.

Works great.
I purchased two to put side by side. As some other reviewers said, you can't just measure mark and drill your holes. You need to fit the shelves together. Easily done though. Holds a nice amount of stuff. It needs two improvements. 1. Better hardware to hang the shelves with. We used a heavier duty drywall screw than those provided. 2. There should be some kind of stopper or slight upward curve on the end of the wine glass rows to keep the glasses from sliding out too easily. It wont just happen, but I could see an earthquake (I live in CA), or some really heavy bass or taking wine bottles in and out vibrating the glasses out of the holders. Will use tiny rubber bumpers on the end to fix this possibility.

Needed some design changes but good product
I, like others, thought this could be mounted under a cabinet, but instead mounts to the wall. Since there is a lip going below the bottom of the cabinet, wall mounting the unit so it is flush to the cabinet bottom does not allow me to put bottles into the slots. Moving the rack down two inches allows the bottles to be stored. I now use this shelf to hold bottle openers and glass cloth.I also had problems with the drywall anchors that came with the unit, but this is a common problem with all sorts of products that mount to walls so having a box of the heavy duty drywall anchors are a must own anyways. The last change is that the glass racks was bent a little forward so the glasses can slide off. I was able to bend the whole glass holder to tilt slightly to the back. I have read this a problemWith all these design issues I almost gave this a 3 star rating, but really like the wine bar rack as they were self correctable.

Better than expected!!
Love this wine rack. It's exactly what we were looking for. Installed it directly into the studs for better support. The wall anchors provided wouldn't have held much.

Looks good, does its job
I don't have an extensive wine collection, typically only have about four bottles at a given moment. I bought this rack and have been pleased with it from the beginning.Reading some of the other reviews, I have found they do not pertain to me for a couple reasons. 1) I have no need to have two mounted racks side by side. Seriously, if you need to store more than the 6 bottles this rack accommodates, then you should be investing in proper wine storage to begin with. 2) I never trust cheap plastic drywall anchors that are included with anything I buy. I would never trust a plastice "slip-in" anchor to hold up anything more than a picture frame. Save yourself the trouble and go to your hardware store and buy proper anchors and mount it properly.I have moved since I have bought this rack, and when I moved, I took the rack with me and remounted it in my new home, it has held up quite well through the last four years. So, if you are looking for a nice, resonably priced rack for your wine and glasses, this is for you. If you have a small collection of wine that consists of more than 6 bottles, invest in a nice wine cabinet to store and lengthen the life of your wine.

Reasonable, after some effort to address its flaws...
I ordered two of these wine racks to hang above a bar cabinet I had recently purchased. They shipped quickly, and they arrived well-packed and undamaged. However, when I proceeded to mount the racks to the wall, two rather significant issues became immediately apparent. First, even though I took tremendous care to drill the mounting holes level, inconsistencies in the manufacturing of the two racks resulted in the front of one of the racks appearing about a half inch higher than the other... they're mounted right next to each other (basically forming one long shelf/rack), so this inconsistency resulted in a very tacky appearance. I compensated somewhat by filing out one of the mounting holes to lower the shelf, but it's still not as close as I'd like. The second issue I encountered was that the drywall anchors included with the units were grossly insufficient... while they seemed to do a reasonable job of supporting the weight of the rack, they started to pull out from the wall once I placed 2 bottles of wine on the shelf - adding a third would certainly have resulted in disaster. $6 at the Home Depot for two pair of 100 lb. drywall anchors remedied this, and I'm now quite happy with the result... however, in my opinion it's almost inexcusable to include insufficient anchors for a shelf meant to be anchored to drywall and to bear the weight of 6 fragile and potentially expensive bottles of wine. At best, this is a nuisance... at worst, the falling wine rack could result in some serious personal injury. So, bottom line - this is a stylish solution for adding additional wine and stemware storage to your home. However, definitely plan on purchasing some more substantial drywall anchors before trying to hang this shelf.

really nice!
I bought this for my fiance and she and I love the quality of the piece. It is a heavier rack, especially when fully loaded with glasses and wine bottles. I do not recommend using the supplyed mounting hardware as the wall anchors will not support the heavy load. Luckily, the mounting tabs on the rack are spaced 16 inches apart, so mounting directly to wall studs is the way to go.

Decent
Looked around online and at some stores for a wine rack to save kitchen space and this one seemed reasonable for the price. Unlike some of the other reviews, the product was as expected/pictured. The wine rack itself is pretty solid, but I would also recommend buying some stronger screws as the ones that came with the product seem like they would rip out once a few bottles of wine are put in the rack. Overall its a decent wine rack at a reasonable price.

Ugly!
I was very disappointed with the quality of this product, it was so cheep. I did read reviews prior to purchasing and it didn't bother me that people said the mounting hardware was sub par - ps it would never have stayed on the wall with the tinymolly bolts they supplied what a joke... It was the fact that it looked like something from the dollar store! I returned it as soon as I got it, don't waste your time or money!
