We’ve had it for about a week it seems to be holding up fairly well, the thickness and durability of it seems to be working fairly well, we used it for a ladder to get up to a bed because the ladder felt sharp, and now it has good grip and no longer feels yucky thanks to this awesome sticky padding! The fans in my computer had a slight rattle to them, which was amplified by the computer sitting on top of my desk. I cut this down to size, stuck it to the desk, and it worked like a charm. The noise is now completely gone. The foam comes tightly rolled up in the package which makes it a little cumbersome to work with, but once you peel the backing off and stick the foam to a surface, it has no problem staying in place. The stuff works great and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Bought product as underlayment padding for a car interior project (leather covered grab bar). The material is 1/4" thick, as advertised. My only complaint is that for my project, the adhesive wasn't strong enough to stay attached as I wrapped it around a 5/16 x 1-1/4 x 18" rectangular shaped metal mounting bar. The material cuts cleanly with a sharp utility knife, no frayed or ragged edges. Overall, the product met my need.

I used this to line the inside of a Kinesis Advantage 2 keyboard which is large and echoes terribly. It was easy to cut into the shapes I needed and stuck incredibly well to the plastic of the keyboard. After lining the top and bottom of the keyboard I stuffed it with pillow filling. It makes way less noise now.

Certainly not a heavy duty material so will absolutely not work for many of the applications listed in the ad. Seat covers or gaskets, no way. It is quite pliable and easy to cut so I thought it would be good for costuming but the adhesive is too weak for that, think Post-It Note strength. It's basically strong enough to hold itself in place while you secure it another way.

We used our first order to wrap an ABS drain line that was too noisy that ran through a guest room. I've also used this as pipe insulation. I've put this in between boards that resonate to reduce vibratios, but sorbothane products are usually better. I've also used this to make custom wrist rests for professional all-day, every-day programmers (layered with softer and firmer foams). This is a good product. If you need it to stick for a long time, plan an additional spray-ahesive or rubber-cement product where you cure both sides before applying. The sticky on this product is good enough for many applications, but we've used over-tape to keep it in place in complex situations. Recommended.

I made a pull out shelf for a bar cabinet that we built and wanted it to be water and slip resistant. This sheet worked perfectly. It's easy to apply once you figure out exactly what you're trying to do. I did end up having to buy a second rule because I got impatient and didn't take my time and stretched it out when I should have just laid it in place and gently pulled back the wax paper. Be careful though because it will tear very easily when you pull it to install. It was user error and not a product flaw at all. I love this product so much I'm looking to use it in several other upcoming projects
