Added 1 of these to a small bedroom closet with closet doors. Simply used the sticky tape and placed the light on the top center door molding (facing downward) on the inside molding behind the doors (inside the closet side) so now when the doors open the light automatically turn on. Exactly what I needed. The light is bright enough to illuminate the closet interior and items within. Since it is behind the doors, the light does not turn on unless the doors swing open causing motion. Very nice! I placed another one in my laundry room which can be pitch dark at times. This one is just sitting on a shelf. Now if we walk into or thru the laundry room, the light comes on supplying plenty of illumination to walk thru without having to flip the main ceiling lights on. This has been very convenient. The motion sensor is powerful and sensitive. Place this somewhere where you won't trigger the lights if/when you don't want them. They can be triggered easily, which can be good or bad depending on your needs. Battry life appears good to me. Brightness is good. These are the bright white (cool white) and not soft white (yellow) just an FYI. I bought a pack of 3 for a very reasonable price. All 3 are working properly and tested. I would reccomend these.

I liked these so much I ordered another set of 3. One of the biggest issues with cheap mini refrigerators is that they do not come with internal lighting. Difficult to try to raid the frig in the middle of the night. These are perfect for installing in a mini frig. The cold and the fact that the light isn't on very much because of the motion sensor keeps the batteries in good shape. So far they have remained stuck to the frig walls with no problem. Very pleased. UPDATE: Yes, they drain batteries fairly fast, depending on how often they are on. I have started to use rechargeable batteries, both lithium and Ni-MH AAAs and it works fine. Our cat tends to hide in the hallway and we've found this quite useful to prevent stepping on him. On the other hand, he sets off the motion sensor so the batteries don't last quite as long. Still a great product.

The lights are compact, easy to install, and BRIGHT! I use them under my kitchen cabinets to light the countertops and works great! They adhesive it comes with isn't the most reliable, as it kept detaching and falling off. I bought mounting tape and added a few pieces and now it works great! My only complaint is that the lights only stay on for 30 seconds, so I have to wave my arms around every time they turn off. I wish they would stay on as long as there is movement. I ordered 2 packs and one of the sets gradually turns on and off and the other flicks on and off. Kind of annoying since i'm using both in the same space.

I got these for the closet. Very smart decision. The product has good quality and super bright. High quality product i would highly recommend. The product is very easy to install and works like charm. It has magnetic bar and adhesive strip on the back of the light. It can be placed anywhere as long as it has smooth surface. The motion detector is sensitive. It also detects the brightness very well and will not turn on if it not in the dark. The battery replacement is also easy, just like replacing the battery of any TV remote controls. My family likes it a lot and again i would high recommend for anyone want to get it.

I got these for our bathroom because we have been having to use a lamp for the moment and I was trying to figure out ways to cut back on the electric bill so thought we'd try these out. I put them on the ceiling and after they fell within the half hour, thankfully didn't break, I tried to put double sided tape to help make them stay but the lights fell out of magnet as well as a strip plus light fell again. We actually really like the lights we just need them to stay and not fall because they're going to end up breaking and not work anymore. Also if you're using them to help light up a room at night after so many minutes they shut off so my son was going to the bathroom and was yelling that they kept shutting off. I thought that was funny personally. So you have to get in the motion range for them to come back on but they do come on immediately when detecting motion. We would walk by the bathroom in the hallway and they would come on so that is definitely not the problem with these lights.

The perfect product and exactly what I needed. It turns on very quickly and is quite bright considering it is small and not supposed to light up a whole room which I didn’t need it too. It also comes on only when it’s dark and does not come on just because it senses motion. It stays on as long in the dark as there is activity but goes off if you turn on the light. It turns off very quickly when you leave the room. Great product and I’m ordering more. Great price for a 3 pack.

I bought these because like most older apartments they come with bare minimum lighting and my closet was dark!!! I didn’t want the tap light simply because of aesthetics lol but hey watever..these were more stylish looking to me and I placed the light, which by the way was super easy to do LITERALLY peel the back off and place where you want it, at the top of door frame and it works like a charm. It does go out pretty quick, when not close by, which is good cause it’ll preserve the battery life. Only con is it takes 4 batteries..other than that a great buy! oh and it is a softer LED type light so it’s not super bright like a ceiling light but it shines enough for me to see everything I need without strain.

Update, customer service was good, they had me return lights and sent me another set of three light bars. Same thing, the light totally went out after a few weeks. Unfortunately the return window has past. I wouldn’t buy them, great idea but they don’t work I bought these motion closet lights for closet and pantry. At first I loved them! Still do when they work, the first set of batteries lasted 16 days the second set went out after nine days. Not sure what to think, the lights do as they said but the battery life being so short don’t know if it’s worth the expense of using them? They would be perfect if the batteries lasted longer than a few days. Would have given five stars but batteries only last a few days and they use four batteries at a time, very expensive! Update; Just had to replace batteries after one days use. I’m thinking this one might be faulty? I asked for a replacement light, will see if batteries works longer when I received it, if it does will re-rate light to five stars.
