Better than a sludge of baking soda and water or vinegar. Just spray it on and walk away. Let it rest and do its thing. It is amazing at cutting through burned on areas.

I do not know what is in this stuff but our family swears it is "magic!" Procter & Gamble 56037 32 Fl Oz Dawn Dish Power Dissolver, Spray Bottle - Case of 6 Removes baked on grease, old dried PAINT, stains on furniture, every grubby, messy thing you can think of from the kitchen to the laundry room to the workshop. I have used it on badly stained automobile interior and it just "lifted" the deeply in-bedded grease/dirt from the layers below. Just be careful that you do not let anything painted or varnished "soak" in it, or you may find your finish "removed!" I discovered its powers as a paint remover after it stripped all the paint from the air-conditioning vents I put in the sink to "spritz and rinse." Whoops! Well, they are clean now! ;) It may seem a little pricey but I stash it away, requiring my family to request it so they do not waste it needlessly when a much less expense cleanser (or a little effort) would handle an easy task. You can just spray it on, let it sit, then wash it away, but it is MUCH more effective if you spray it on the stain, let it penetrate for a minute, then use a brush to scrub the formula in the stain, let it sit again, wash it away. I am tempted to hoard this product, less it ever become unavailable, that is how much I love it.

With the slightest scrubbing with a scotchbrite pad, the pots,baking pans, and appliances were clean, grease free and shiny! It’s not cheap. It’s not in stores anymore, but its performance is truly remarkable. Give it a try.

I love this product, and sadly it's becoming VERY hard to find via normal retail channels. I tend to have a reaction to caustic chemicals, but this stuff cleans great without all of the odor. When used as directed, it makes quick work of greasy, hard-to-clean pots and pans. What most people may not realize is that it works great to clean up your oven, or your cooktop. If someone's car leaks a bit of oil on my concrete driveway, I can spray it with this product and remove most (if not all) of the oil stain. I understand that mechanics often use it to degrease tools or parts, too. There are many, many uses for this product, and it does a wonderful job for all. I cannot understand why such a useful product would disappear from the retail marketplace. This product is the equivalent of the retail version, however it's packaged differently (for industrial use) and is a larger quantity. I don't care about the packaging, as long as I can get the product!

I use it on my cookware. I spray some on the built up grease, let it sit for about 30 minutes and it loosens the grease for the pans like a charm. No more hard scrubbing and ruining the finish on my cookware. I recommend.

Very powerful stuff, cleans very well. When cleaning my grill, it took the marks of HIGH, MED and LOW off one burner...ink was gone. Be careful with this powerful product.

We use this product in our cleaning company and let me tell you cleaning ovens has not been easier. Great product! make sure you order it from a reputable vendor some water it down. It should be almost a gel consistency if you got the right stuff. This product we got here was exactly how its supposed to be.

I love this product and was disappointed I could not find it in stores. I am pleased I found it on Amazon but I think the price is really too high, the reason it gets 3 stars. It does clean my pots and pans, even old built up stains. I use it very sparingly because of the cost.

I got this product because it was recommended for cleaning aluminum pots and pans, baking trays, etc. It is powerful enough to remove all burnt on grease, but gentle enough to not stain nor corrode aluminum. However, I found it the most useful in daily maintenance of our ceramic stovetop . Apply it on all baked on droplets of fat and rainbow stains and within a couple of minutes they are degraded into nothing and simply wiped off. Amazing. I am very satisfied. A great product. And a little goes a long way.
