These bulbs have good brightness and color. I don't think they are as bright as 18W halogen but I didn't want them that bright anyway. The base is rather snug in the fixture but that's acceptable. Just had to push harder. For only 2 watts and long life they're a good deal. Note: They are a bit tall so they may not fit in all fixtures. They're fine in three-tier walkway lights.

Worked great. Brightness is working great for low voltage landscaping.

Light quality is surprisingly good. It is halogen-like and to my eye probably has a pretty good CRI. While not as bright as the oem LED which failed in the Hampton bay fixture (lots failing in these, and no factory replacement), this little guy has held on for 2 months now, 6 hours per day. Granted, they should last years… but even the Hampton bay stuff isn’t doing that. So, so far so good. Also pressed one into the trunk light in my car - more light and easy on the eyes at night. These are worth a shot.

Purchased these as replacements for my garden lights, bayonet style that slip right in, good color balance (not bright white) and so far have no issues

Great alternative to the expensive bulbs available at big box retailers. Color great for outdoor garden night lighting.

Just what I wanted.

I gave these 5 stars way to soon. Had two quit working after only a week. Yes I have them outside but they say waterproof. One quit working after a rain and the second quit working with no rain. They are in a lantern so it's enclosed and that should be double protection. It seems condensation gets in the bulb it it's done.. Big waste of money. Amazon use to care about their customers base. Not anymore. They will sell anything no matter how horrible it is just to make a buck. That what happens when you get big. You forget about who made you big!! I went through 5 in a week!!!

I have been buying the incandescent bulbs for my 36 pathway lights for years now because I had a hard time justifying the expense of LED bulbs. I was constantly replacing the incandescent bulbs but I figured that since they were cheaper than LED that I was money ahead. I know the statistics of how long LED’s last but I have had some LED’s go bad after a short while too so I was hesitant to buy them for my pathway lights. But, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 5 pack of these and boy am I glad I did. After a month with no burnouts I bought 2 more 5 packs and now it’s coming up on almost 3 months and not one bulb has burned out. The bulbs are well packaged in individual boxes inside a zip-lok bag and not a bad one yet. The only negative is my lights are a T5 base and the LED bulbs state T5/T10 so they are a little tight when installing in the T5 fixture. I will definitely purchase more of these as the need arises.

I bought them to replace the regular slide in incessant 4 watt bulbs. These lightbulbs are very long and you can see them below the valance on all the deck lighting covers so they’re blinding in your eyes when you’re sitting on your deck. They would be great if they’re inside a glass cased landscape lighting. But I would not use them to replace valance type lighting for your decks and stairs
